My wife and I stayed at Hotel Gioberti for 5 nights in August 2014. The hotel was booked through a travel agent. We stayed in a standard room. The name of the hotel suggests rich personality and charismatic charm but my experience was not like that. The hotel was not untenable but it is a hotel that exists by virtue... More

This hotel was perfect for getting in and out of the city due to the closeness of train station. We really only needed a hotel as a place to sleep so was pleasantly surprised with how nice the rooms were and how quiet it was. The breakfast was welcoming and set us up for a busy day. The hotel was... More

We stayed here on our last night in Italy. The room was bigger than I expected it to be. It was very clean. Nice shower. Great location near train station. We left before breakfast but we did get a very nice box breakfast to take with us.

It was my second time in Rome, so I knew we wouldn't be in our hotel other than to sleep!!!! Good location for getting round, as it's near the termini station. The hotel isn't particularly luxurious, but for resting your weary legs each night it's perfect. It's clean and tidy, Reception staff were particularly helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good,... Old building but clean and adequate. Good size rooms although we did have a tiny shower where we kept banging our elbows. Very quiet, good firm bed which my husband would call 'hard', tv and good air conditioning. Very close to train station and lots of places to eat right outside the front door. Breakfast was good especially their sticky... More

I wouldn't say this hotel is a 4 star but it's completely adequate and clean. Pros: location was brilliant, right next to the main train station (termini) good for using trains, metro and buses. AC was very effective and adjustable. When you close the shutters and windows, it blocks out almost all of the street noise. Cons: the shower was... More

A nice hotel which is close to the Termini where the shuttle buses and trains come in. This allows you to dump your cases very quickly before starting to explore. The room was a good size but had no view. Good value for the money. Breakfast was continental and had a reasonable selection. A place to sleep and within walking... More

This hotel would have been given a five star for me. They just need to downgrade their stars. I need to look up how they value stars but this did not appear to me as a four star. That aside they were very contemporary and no real complaints. The breakfast was really good. The location is great. You can walk... More

Although we only had three nights stay at the hotel we found the room to be clean and spacious, beds were comfortable. The rooms were cleaned every day and towels changed. The hotel was near to all forms of transport Breakfast was a little disappointing as most days more or less the same things were available and there was no... More

I have stayed at this hotel on 27th of April 2014 for 2 nights (Canonisation of JP2) so the city was really busy. The greatest thing about this hotel is location. It is located just in the in the very close distance 10-20 min. walk from all main attractions in Rome (Coloseum, Foro di Palatio, Foro Romano, Palatino, etc.). If... More
