Having read other reviews, I am wondering if I'm on a different planet ! This hotel is meant to be 4* but has no porter, no luggage trolley, no proper restaurant other than a room that has buffet breakfast, you cannot have lunch or dinner their, no room service, no bar so how can this be 4*. There were 10... More

I stayed at Gioberti hotel with my sister in August and I really liked it. Firstly, the location is amazing (3 min from subway station, really close to railway station which is very convenient if you want to visit other cities and there are many different restaurants, shops etc). Secondly, our room was very good and it was cleaned every... More

This hotel is clean and basic and should be described as a 3 star B&B. The floors in rooms are cheap ceramic tiles and walls basic painted. Bathroom clean but very basic. No lounge or bar, basic breakfast. Good location.

I stayed just one night at this hotel. Really closed to Termini station that's why I choose this hotel but when I check the bed, it looked clean but i saw a bug and dusty on the bed. I felt very upset but didn't complain about it. It was so late to do. But I don't wanna stay there again.

This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel while in Rome. The breakfast is on the second floor and includes a good selection of both hot and cold foods. The elevators are tiny and only worth using to get your bags up and down to your floor, otherwise getting some exercise on the stairs is easier and... More

The hotel is right next to Termini Station, approximately two minutes by walk. Hotel is basic with no frills or luxuries. Room was spacious with basic decor and a good sized bath room although shower cubicle was rather small. TV in the room was not working but didn't bother to inform reception as we were out most of the day.... More

Great hotel and location beside termini station. Stayed 3 nights. Friendly and very helpful staff. Very nice and clean rooms and bathroom. Comfortable beds which is what i look for in a holiday. Lots of restaurants and takeaways around and near places of interest.

Good hotel, offer 24hr reception which is great for late arriving flights. Breakfast however begins late- long before day trips have been picked up. Luckily there is a take away store outside. Lots of aussies and americans staying here.. Rooms were clean and bathroom nice. Ok for overnight stay.

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
