I enjoyed every minute of my stay in the Rome at this beautiful hotel. The service was excellent, the suite was outstanding and the breakfast was wonderful. It is within walking distance of good shopping and many great sites such as Roman Colosseum, museums and the train station. This hotel is elegant and I would recommend it to anyone looking... More

My friend and I booked 4 nights at 'Beautiful Place in Rome' only to be roomed at the 'LAM Guest House'. We were given a dorm-like room even though we booked a private room and our washing machine did not work along with other poor and unclean facilities. To get our private room they then moved us FOUR BLOCKS away... More

Beautiful place in Rome is virtual hotel as it is part of Lam guest house. We booked room in guest house but been transferred after 2 nights due to hot water problems. Receptionist told us that we cannot use kitchen facilities, and that we should be happy because this is 200 euro per night apartment.Personally i think that only someone... More

We booked and paid for everything 1month in advance and we asked for a room with 4 separate beds and it's own toilet but instead we were crammed in a room with a double bed and a bunk bed, shared toilet!!! After we complained about it they didn't even apologize and only in 2 days they moved us to a... More

I think this is my first time writing a review for a hostel. Especially a negative one. I have stayed at a good amount of hostels through out my travels and this is THE worst hostel I've ever stayed at. I've also slept on the side of the road while hitchhiking and I'd rather do that than stay here again.... More

To say that this "hotel" is the worst hotel I have ever been to is an understatement. The service is terrible, the rooms are small and dirty, the AC doesnt work and the location is terrible. Even if you are travelling on a budget there are much better places to spend the night and pay the same amount. We spent... More

Pros:- Excellent location. Just next to Termini station. We were 4 people in a one bedroom apartment. Nice and cosy. We loved the stay...Very friendly staff..Speaks good English as well.. Ideal for a short stay of a day or two in Rome. Pros:- Breakfast wasn't good..Just coffee and a croissant.

This place is close to train station and bus terminus hence walking distance I would say 7-8 mins. Stayed in this hotel for three nights booked for double bed and what we got was a room on street side and two single beds joined together to make double bed which were uneven. The street side room was very noisy and... More

Just for one night, if you dont want to spend more than 30 euros, is ok. Otheriwise, if you are looking for something relaxing, keep going somewhere else. The staff is very helpfull. No regrets, you pay for what you pay.

This hotel was my worst experience ever. Our room was small, smelly and dirty. Every day cleaning was "okay" but curtains haven't been washed in years and the air conditioner was covered with 2cm dust, it was probably last cleaned years ago. I took some photos of it so I'm willing to show to anyone! WiFi was not working in... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
