4 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 days ago NEW

A beautiful few days and generally very impressed. The situation down a small street just 100 yards or so from Popolo is good so access to all areas is no problem. With via del Corso about the same distance the area is buzzing til late evening. For the more discriminating via del Babuino is just little further. Stayed in a... More

Great little hotel in Rome - arty spaces with lovely comfortable rooms - we had 2 suites which were spacious, one with a jacuzzi/terrace and good value for this time of the year. There are some smaller rooms which in my opinion would be too small if you were planning on staying more than a few days. The staff were... More

This was our first visit to Rome and we chose to stay here. The hotel is very nicely situated and offers great luxury accommodation. The service is top notch and the facilities are very well appointed. Our room was very elegant and the bathroom was spotlessly clean. We went sightseeing and when we came back each day we were greeted... More

This hotel was simply amazing ! The First boasts the highest quality service, beautifully crafted rooms and excellent location surrounded by food, arts and history. From the bottle of bubbly upon arrival, the weather forecasts for the following day placed upon your bedside table ,the attentiveness of the staff to all the little extras made our stay nothing short of... For a top class hotel with superior service from the minute you walk through the door, this is the one. Beautiful suite, well appointed with marble bathroom, walk in wardrobe, and a sumptuous feel throughout. Excellent central location. Take advantage of concierge prior to travel for arranging pick up and drop off at the airport and exceptionally good restaurant recommendations.... More

We stayed in the Jacuzzi suite for 2 nights in July as we were going to a Lumineers gig in Rome. We stayed in the wonderful room in all the pictures on the website - it was stunning. Wonderful bed and bathroom, the balcony had the jacuzzi on and was set up for us to use within two hours of... More

Pros: We were assigned to a room without drawers (can you believe it?) and after talking to reception they were very accommodating and changed us to a bigger room. The hotel has a great decor and it is exceptionally clean and smell fresh. The bathrooms are bigger than enough, but a litter darker than we like. The service at the... More

This past October we spend four nights in this lovely hotel. great location, not far from the piazza de popoli. Easy walking everywhere. The breakfast in this hotel was delicious and service very nice. They have a michelin star restaurant in the hotel, we did not try it, but wanted too. The menu looked lovely and it was full every... We visited Rome in November and were greeted with warm sunny days during our four night stay. We have a preference for boutique hotels, so we have a good range of experiences to benchmark the "first art hotel" - it is one of the best we have stayed in. We would definitely recommend it and we will definitely stay there again when we return to Rome in the future.

Staying in Campo Marzio

Neighborhood Profile
Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighborhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina. Campo Marzio can be a bit of a sleeper after aperitivi hour (9pm), so visit by day and experience the pulse of daytime Rome.
