This hotel is so well located with a fabulous staff. Beautiful room with all the amenities. Wifi was slow but better after we asked for it to be rebooted. The art hanging throughout the hotel added such a nice feature. Restaurant for breakfast was excellent.

This hotel is very modern and artsy and located close to the Republico de Popoli. It is within easy walking distance to ancient Rome, the Colosseum, the Italian War Memorial and lots of shopping and dining! The one downfall to the whole stay was the Wi-Fi. It was slower than dial-up and extremely frustrating! If you have business to complete... More

Not knowing Rome well having been there only once years ago, picking a “no-name” (sorry) hotel was a gamble. Yet its’ location seemed perfect and Tripadvisor reviews were excellent so we booked. On arrival in a taxi from the Termini train station at the end of what seemed an alley (other cars were in the narrow street), we became nervous... More

This is a lovely hotel with a fantastic staff--fluent in English. When we first arrived they were able to upgrade us and assisted us in planning our trip--booking tours, train tickets, etc. The hotel is about a block to the main shopping street, a 10-15 minute walk to the Spanish Steps, about 20-25 min walk to the Pantheon, and about... We had a lovely stay at this newly refurbished boutique hotel which is situated in a quiet street only 10-15 mins from the main sites in Rome. The Vatican is furthest away at around a 20 minute walk: the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Capitol, Forum are all nearer as are the main shopping streets. We were greeted on arrival... This review is well overdue since we visited the hotel in June for our honeymoon. In general, the hotel is well-located, very close to the Piazza del Popolo and twin churches, and has good amenities. The staff were very helpful and upgraded us to a suite since upon arrival. However, once we left, my husband found out that a significant... More

Staying in Campo Marzio

Neighborhood Profile
Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighborhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina. Campo Marzio can be a bit of a sleeper after aperitivi hour (9pm), so visit by day and experience the pulse of daytime Rome.
