The rooms were a great size! The location was unbeatable! From our balcony we could see the Vatican wall. We had our own section of the kitchen and whenever we would eat something, it would be quickly refilled and replaced by Emiliano. When we arrived Emiliano gave us a map, told us which buses and trains to take to which... More

Thanks to Francesco, discovering the city was never easier!! He gives you the first review of where to go and how to use the bus to reach the different parts of rome. As everyone wrote already, the place is 5 minutes away from the main gate of the vatican. The best thing about this place is that you feel at... More

Chose this hotel because of the very good reviews. Previously we have stayed in b&b in Brussels and decided that the same thing would await us in Rome. However, we suffered a slight disappointment. Yes, close to the metro and the Vatican. Yes, very friendly hosts. But the rest .... We were given the BLUE ROOM. The room was small,... More

The great location- close to metro station and even walking distance to the center. Feeling like at home- you can make your own breakfast in the kitchen. The room is very clean and spacious. Fracesco's hospitality is great, and we had a feeling that we were good friends for a long time. Coming again for sure.

The location is perfect....everything in walking distance and close to metro, yet very quiet and safe. The hosts were wonderful, helpful and kind. The rooms aren't huge, but this is Rome. Our bathroom was spacious with a nice walk in shower. It's a Bed and Breakfast, so if you're looking for exercise rooms, sauna, etc. ,this is not your place. But if you want a clean,... Two friendlier and helpful hosts I am yet to meet. When booking in Rome I wanted to be near the Vatican, close to Metro links and in walking distance of good shops and restaurants/bars. We arrived at a big, double door and had to click on the Scipione B& B button, from that moment on we were made to feel... More

My mum and I stayed at the Scipione B&B 3 times over our month long trip to Italy. We found it a fabulous place to stay, it is near the Vatican and is walking distance to all the major tourist attractions in Rome (and I'm not usually a walker...) but if walking doesn't excite you the Metro is not far... I stayed at the Scipione B&B for the first time last fall. It was the perfect place to stay. When I returned in April, I was fortunate enough to stay there again. It's close to Vatican City, the metro, and is within the center of Rome. The neighborhood, Prati, is elegant. The property is safe, very well-maintained and guests have... More

This B&B is clean, is close to the metro, is close to the Vatican and is run by the generous pair of Emiliano and Francesco who put your lovely and generous breakfast in the fridge, make you confident with the coffee machine, help you plan your Rome trip and most importantly run a reliable house. One morning I was terrified... More

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
