This hotel was great. Location perfect, easy to get around. Service was very good. Luca the concierge was fabulous, couldn't do enough. Not sure why I paid more for the "Red Level", aside from different color towels by the pool, not sure what advantages I got. The so called lounge was a waste, could definitely live without, in fact only... More

Best hotel in Rome. Situated close to Vatican City and a short stroll into the centre. Hotel was stunning, food was amazing (Michelin star chef) and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Can't rave about this place enough. Definitely going back to Rome and there's only one place we'd stay. Fantastic. Don't book anywhere else, you'd be disappointed that you... More

Great location & an eclectic ultra modern hotel. Beautifully decorated main areas, lovely pool & the service was excellent. However, seriously unimpressed with the Red Level lounge benefits which do cost a lot more & are definitely not worth it here. The Red Level concierge was brilliant but the lounge was a huge disappointment. Uncomfortable, dark with no atmosphere &... More

I loved this hotel the first time I stumbled upon it. Having this resort in the heart of Rome is heaven sent. I loved it so much I extended my stay and hosted a client here. This hotel is beautiful and could be perfect. The only problem is the cost of food and drink. Also you cannot use the Spa if you stay at the hotel unless you pay 20 Euros a day extra. The pool is freezing not good for spring and autumn. No tea in the room unless you pay extra. Small glass of... More

I went to Rome to propose my gf. We've been here for only one night and we booked a deluxe room but we were upgraded to a junior suite. The hotel is amazing and the staff is very helpful! The location is great and the have a free shuttle bus direct to the city center at Via del Corso.

Hotel is first class, beautiful, peaceful setting, nice rooms and great breakfast. Easy walk to the Vatican to the left and to lots of reasonably priced family restaurants across the Tevere river to the right, it couldn't be better situated.

We came here on the first part of our honeymoon, we spent a little more than usual and we're not disappointed! The hotel is about a 10/15 min walk from the Vatican and 45-60 min walk to The Colosseum. We walked everywhere but the hotel also offer a free shuttle into town and out of town at certain times throughout... More

Stayed in hotel February with friends and the service was first class, had a good deal and would go back, room was spotless and spacious, no view from room which was disappointing. Staff were very attentive even bringing umbrellas when raining, good time of year to visit Rome . Food was also good and ideal location for sight seeing

We had a terrible experience there so I am biased. On our online reservation we requested our rooms to be connected. On the day of our arrival I called in early in the morning to extend my stay one more night and confirm, and got confirmation, the two rooms are connected. On my arrival: there are no connected rooms! I... More

Staying in Trastevere

Neighborhood Profile
Trastevere
Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded postcard, a little worn around the edges but still charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of entertainment - a rotating set of street performers entertains almost every night, and unforgettable eateries and bars pepper its piazzas and side streets. For a trip to the past, visit the southern and western flanks of Trastevere for pockets of yesteryear, less traversed areas with a residual 1960s and 70s Roman vibe.
