Just returned from a 4 Night stay in The Berg. First and foremost we really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is very conveniently placed and within walking distance of most of the main sites. The room which we had was large and well appointed, beautifully furnished in a modern style with a really luxurious bathroom, enormous bed. The rest of... More

Just outside Villa Borghese, and walking distance to the Spanish steps and other attractions if you are up for a walk (we walked to the Pantheon from the hotel) it is a very spacious and comfortable hotel. The rooms are ultra modern and quite large by European standards. The continental breakfast was great. It included, coffee made to order, fresh... More

Stayed here the last week of November but booked the Ludovisi Palace Hotel (200 feet door to door) for the first night knowing from these reviews that the overbooking situation was likely to occur. Yes it occurred (reservation software glitch) but Berg paid for the second night at the Ludovisi using the prepayment of 1 of the 4 nights at... More

The Berg Luxury Hotel was situated close to the Spanish steps and just up the way from the Barberini metro stop. Concierge and Hotel staff were friendly and informative. The room was well appointed with a large bed, big screen TV, refreshments and nicely designed shower/ WC. Would definitely stay here again.

This place was a True Gem. I couldn't have asked for better service. The Rooms were Spacious, clean, and very nicely decorated. The staff went above and beyond to help us as this was my first time overseas. If i ever venture back to Italy, i will be staying with this hotel. Paolo was wonderful and truly made us feel... More

We just returned from our stay at Berg Luxury Hotel. Our vacation was off to a rocky start when we arrived at the hotel at 8 am and were told that we could not check in until 2pm. We were tired after a 9 hour flight and not up for exploring the city. We walked around for a little bit... More

I was referred to this hotel by a friend who stayed a couple of years ago. There seems to be an issue with overbooking. Our issue is they stuck us in a room we didn't request. We requested a king bed + sofa bed. Put us in king only. When we brought it to the manager's attention, at first he... More

We just completed a lengthy stay at the Berg and found it to be a clean and welcoming hotel. Our room was always clean, and the bathroom was big and spacious. The location was great: near Via Veneto, Barberini Square and the Spanish Steps. The front desk staff (Giuseppe, Albert and Stefano) were helpful and friendly. We also appreciated the... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
