a lot of chemicals in the room, we came and had to open the window for all night, it was some chemical with some parfume, strange. I begged the receptionist, even in his mother language to change me the room as I really started to sneeze etc...no way!!!! incredible italian arrogance of some "model" receptionist who did not care at all!!!!

It was a gret hotel! Each room was decorated in different colours. The staff were very friendly. Breakfasy was good. Rooms were very clean. The hotel is located 10min from the colloseum and next to the hotel theres a metro station.

Superb hotel, reasonable prices, spotless rooms, modern amenities, gracious hosts, unreservedly recommend. Ideal central location for shopping, sightseeing, and dining. My wife and I stayed at the hotel Koru in june and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Try it and you will too. Cindy, Firenze

And it's not a compliment. We were forced to stay in this hotel for one night after the hotel we had booked was making repairs to the suite we had reserved. They put us in a taxi [which they paid for] about 10:00 at night and we went there not knowing anything about this hotel, including it's location. There were... More

The Hotel Koru is conveniently located to transportation and many of the tourist attractions of Rome, a short walk to the Colosseum and the lovely Santa Maria Maggiore church in particular. There are plenty of dining options nearby, including a fine gelateria just up the block. There is a grocery less than a block away for inexpensive snacking options. We... More

friendly staff, clean rooms and great location. just 2 minutes away from the colosseum. the only small critiscm was the choice at the breakfast, but most of the hotels in Italy seem to have the same things. Just eggs and sausages. no bacon, no beans no different things try

Lovely hotel perfectly positioned for city tours. The price is acceptable but there is plenty of room for improvements. We booked a regular twin room with breakfast for 7 days. But at the middle of our stay I got a food poisoning after recklessly drinking a glass of warmed milk served for breakfast. It was one of the worst food... More

We stayed 3 nights at Hotel Koru from 22 - 25/November. Piettro was very nice to let us stay in a room with terrace, facing the back streets. If there is something we wish - it would be to have tea making facilities - maybe a kettle, couple of coffee mugs and some instant coffee / tea. The morning /... More

Staying in Monti

Neighborhood Profile
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.
