A central location and beautifuly decorated apartments. Plus having Gianluca to attend every query makes it one of the best accomadations we had in Rome. Breakfast was delicious and rooms were spacious also very clean. We'll definitely come back!

Trip Advisor Reviews were amazing so had high hopes. But in summary: Pro - Gianluca very nice and accommodating to our 10/10:30 breakfast and dietary requests which was great, and probably not found at too many places in Rome! Service was very nice - room was clean - big beds Con - issues with both the toilet and shower drain... More

Traveled to Rome for 3 full days with my wife 1) Great location - clear area, not so many tourists like near Vatican, 5-20 minutes of walk to all main attractions 2) A lot of high quality and not expensive restaurants near by (in Vatican area, the restaurants are much more expensive for less quality). May recommend "Sa Tanca" in... More

We had 3 wonderful nights in Rome. Gianluca is a great host and nothing is too much trouble for him. He arranged our transportation too and from the airport and was kind enough to download our tickets to the Vatican ( which saved hours of queuing) The rooms are spacious and clean and the whirlpool bath was a great tonic... Myself and My Fiance stayed at the Cardilli for one night and would most definitely stay there again. Gianluca made us feel so welcome and looked after us 100%. We both felt as if we had known him for ages. The room was spacious, clean and the bathroom shower/wetroom was excellent. Breakfast was served to you rather than standing waiting... More

The hotel is in a nice part of Rome- quiet, locals with lots of great restaurants. Gianlucca is an excellent host- advised on best tickets for the Vatican, walking routes in Rome and made us a fine breakfast. The hotel is in a charming old apartment block with a lovely old lift and spacious rooms. The rooms are very clean... More

Staying in Monti

Neighborhood Profile
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.
