Bedrooms ok upstairs and place very hard to find and breakfast was terrible. What they don't tell you on their internet site is that they give you a 'chip' to have your breakfast next door. You are given a choice of tea or coffee, an orange juice and a croissant. Yes, that's all you get for breakfast so if you... More

We were originally booked at Bavaria B&B...and that wasn't a good start to Rome for us. We had to lug our stuff right up top first...to only be told that the place was full and they would have to move us to another place close by. In a way, I was very happy that it we were giving Bavaria a... More

The location is easy to find, very near the Maggiore church, a good 10 minute walk from the Termini Station, with free wifi, clean room, clean shower/toilet (in my room, shower is separate from toilet), helpful and informative owner. A good walking distance to some of the sights, but that is if you're into walking. The place is at 3rd... More

Nice and central, within walking distance of the main train station and the colosseum. The room itself was quite small, and although by and large clean, there was some unidentified powder/dust on the bed. The room came with free wifi and pretty good air conditioning, but the shower was quite poor. The breakfast was very basic, and was served in... More

The rooms are located in a charming neighborhood, an easy walk from the Termini (we were traveling with a 2-year old) and have good transport links to everywhere. Our rooms were very clean and we had a trouble-free stay. Just make sure you get briefed about everything before the staff leave. Great coffee for breakfast and biscuits in the room... More

I stayed here for a week in August and we couldn't have asked for a better hotel. The location was fantastic, just a 5/10 minute walk to the colesseum and the termini train station/metro stop. We arrived to a friendly welcome and a beautiful room. The room was clean and modern with air conditioning, a double bed and a mini... More

I was confused when I first arrived as I did not see a lobby; then, I understood these B&B in Rome are converted apartments, which provide excellent location for a good price and allow privacy. I booked a double room with private bathroom, AC (very important in Rome during summer time), free wifi, and breakfast (capucchino and croissant). The apartment... More

First time being in Rome and Lorry who takes care of this place is really friendly and has been giving lots of information about how to get around in Rome. quite near to Termini but if its your first time in Rome, you will get confused cos all building looks identical. There is mini fridge, double bed, AC and Wi-Fi... More

A room with a street view is fantastic, but given the view is of an inner city street with a view bars and restaurants and street cleaners coming through quite late at night, I would have preferred a room without a view. Admittedly, there isn't that much in the way of restaurants and bars on this street and the traffic... More

This place is a basically a regular flat with all rooms converted into doublerooms with bath. There is no reception or any staff around, everything is on call. The necessary telephone numbers are on a doorplate at the main entrance and the service works even deep in the night. It seems to be save, you need to unlock four doors... More

Staying in Monti

Neighborhood Profile
Monti
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.
