The stay at small luxury was a great experience. Less than five minute walk to the Vatican. The only thing I would do different is rent one of the larger rooms. We could barely turn around in the room but it was clean clean clean! The staff were amazing with their customer service! We would definitely stay there again!

reviewing this for my parents. They arrived late last weekend after a delayed and diverted flight. I kept in touch with mariachaira via email and she was waiting on them when they arrived. *nothing to do with hotel but very bad experience at ciampino airport where taxi man left them on a country road about 5 mins from airport charged... First of all note that this is a B&B. But people get very disoriented when they arrive if they haven’t realized that this is NOT a hotel…You rent a room with a bathroom in a building where several other companies besides Small Luxury rent apartments. You need to get there at specific times in the day because otherwise the owners... More

We have booked at small luxury for a weekend at Rome with a couple of friends on May 2015. The hotel is located near Vatican in a busy road with shops around very near to the city center. Taxis are just in front so it will make your life easy going around. But... We haven't been warned that due to... More

Arrived in Rome after missing a connection and having one our suitcases lost - luckily we were stating at Small Luxury and things started to turn for the better. The room was clean, large and the bed was very comfortable. Maurizio could not have been more wonderful! He explained everything in the room and suggested a great place for dinner.... More

Our 2nd visit to small luxury. This B&B is simply amazing with modern, clean accommodation with extremely comfortable beds. The view is amazing being able to see St Peters so clearly from the room makes the experience even more special. Grace provides an excellent and timely service. The breakfasts are ample and will keep you going for the day. The... More

I stayed at the Small Luxury department from June 21st to June 25th and I have to say that it was absolutely amazing, the service was amazing from Grace who was always available for any doubt or concern during my stay. The view from my room to St Peter's was great to see at all times, the breakfast was really... More

The hotel actually located in beautiful old building, occupying half of the 4th floor and consisting of several nice and very cozy rooms. There is acually no reception (except 2sqm room with laptop), but it's not a problem at all. We stayed in standard room and it was nicely decorated of good decor and materials, great bathroom with shower. Our... More

What a fabulous apartment! Wonderful views of St Peters, excellent location, close to the metro. The apartment was clean and quite luxurious. You enter the building through huge wooden doors at street level and the quaintest elevator takes you up to the B&B. We loved the breakfast each morning that Grace prepared and bought to our room at the time... More

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
