I stayed on the smallest room, which didn't turn to be something bad. The room is absolutely clean, the shower is excelent, the owner is very friendly and try to make you comfortable in all possible ways, the location is excellent (beside Vaticano Walls). The hotel is in reality a big apartment, which was transformed in a bed&breakfast. But everything... More

We stayed here for two nights. We were very pleased with the location, Michele's help finding restaurants/metro/etc., the coolness of the AC, and the appearance of the hotel. We would definitely stay again if in Rome! My only suggestion: a few rugs :)

We stayed here for a 5 nights and found b-cool perfect in every way. Not far from everywhere you want to be. Great price location and friendly staff!! 500metres from train station which makes it easy to get around! Nice restaurants close by too

I stayed @b-cool during the last weekend of June 2013, for 2 nights. Location is simply great, 50 metres from Subway station Ottaviano. Place is very nice, at the third floor of a local palace. Rooms good sized and with a bathroom equipped with cromotherapy. Breakfast buffet well presented. An excellent score goes to service and cleanliness: rooms and common... More

I stayed in a single room at B-Cool for a few nights while doing some research in the Vatican library. I've stayed in a few hotels in Rome for short stays and thought B-COOL offered amazing value for money -- I've paid the same for dumps near the train station, without a private bathroom. Michele is a super, super guy... More

Be-Cool was conveniently located in a safe and vibrant neighborhood near the Vatican. Staying there, I felt like a resident of the city and I loved entering the grand doors to the building to escape to our private hotel away from the bustle of the city. Michele was friendly and eager to guide us where we wanted to go. Many... More

I thought that I had submitted a review of B-Cool, but maybe not. This was a fantastic place to stay. About 8 block walk to the Vatican. Great restaurants in the area, one in particular, on the corner. "Michael" was a superb host - gave us all kinds of suggestions. And bless his heart, allowed us to leave our luggage... More

Michele was a charm upon our arrival, and gave us gd tips on how to travel within the city. The room (Caste D'San Angelo room) was adequately spaced for both of our 29" luggages. The shower was cute in the way that it had changing disco lights when water is on! Water pressure ok and heated water tends to get... More

As a frequent traveller I have seen many hotels in all kinds and sizes. It's quite hard to find a hotel of which all aspecst are good. Location, hospitality, clean rooms, food etc. B-Cool offers all combined with a fair price. Located very near to the Vatican and just a 15 min walk from the Spanish steps. Walk in the... More

I loved this b&b. Stylish rooms, all very clean, comfy bed, nice breakfast of pastries, juice and coffee - and best of all, a wonderfully warm welcome from the proprietor Michele. The b&b is housed in a traditional Italian apartment block in a great part of Rome, literally around the corner from the metro and ten minutes walk to St... More

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
