We had the "luxury" double room for 5 nights and the first impression was not good - luxury it is not. If the advertising had used the word "satisfactory" in its descriptions I would have no cause for any negative comments at all though. I felt the facilities were smaller than they appear, there seemed to be only one other... More

The best thing about apartment was the location, was a bit disappointed when we first arrived in apartment, found alot of stain on the beds, bathroom was not that clean. Room was big enough for four of us, myself, my husband and our two teenage sons.

We booked the suite room at the Internoroma - There were 3 of us , 2 adults and one 10 year old and the room size was satisfactory - The bathroom with the jacuzi spa was both small and did not have a window and was probably the most disappointing feature - The room was clean , had most things... Room in an apartment building. There is refrigerator, large LCD TV with built-in player (only italian channels), a kitchen with a microwave, kettle and tea, sugar, bath with shower, bidet, hair dryer, plenty of sockets. No insects. To Termini 15 minutes by foot, around the corner on Manzoni three Italian restaurants, there is supermarket at the crossroad, also less than... More

Our family of five stayed three nights at the InteroRoma. We took the train in to Rome from Venice and walked from the Roma Termini train station to the hotel. It was about a twenty minute walk. It is a little difficult to find, but you enter through some large wood doors to a courtyard. There is a small sign... More

We had the biggest room, I believe it's the deluxe double room. There's no denying that the whole apartment with 5 rooms in total has it charms, but the pictures on line, I thought looked better than in person ( that's the case, more often than not). I liked the fine details from the beautiful curtains and bed covers to... More

We enjoyed our recent stay at this interesting hotel! It is on the first floor of a charming 18th century building. There are only five rooms in the centrally located hotel, an easy walk to the Manzoni subway station. Our double room was on the small side, but I think there are bigger ones. We made it work though!. There... More

Our room, a Deluxe Double Room , was very nice. Spacious, clean and well furnished. Exactly as described in the website. Good sheets, linen and cleaning service. The lack of a permanent recepcion may cause some problems. Make sure you anounce clearly the time of your arrival. We rented a scooter for the whole week we spent there so... no... More

We had one night here, it's clean, air conditioned, close to the main train station and the bed is nice enough. The shower head wasn't working but the hose one was, so that was alright. Really, for the price, what more can you ask for. If you have N extended stay in Rome, I would recommend staying closer tithe colosseum.... More

It is a little tricky to find the entrance, but when we entered the floor, we were pleasantly surprised. If you are taking a taxi, make sure he/she understands Via di Porta Maggiore and not Piazza Maggiore (as our driver made that mistake). Also, when you get to the address and enter the big wooden doors, you will be in... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
