We stayed for 4 days in total in the newer building (via Raffaele Cadorna). The rooms and toilet are bigger and newer. Great location and in walking distance to all major sightseeings.Clean rooms, decent breakfast and a host more than helpful. I would definitely recommend this as a true value for money ;)

We stayed 3 nights here and couldn't be more pleased! Great location, although we were unsure what it was going to be like from the outside! Lovely quiet street in a more local part of town, surrounded by lovely authentic restaurants which didn't over charge like some nearer the city. Great bus route, 2 minute walk away, right to Vatican... More

I went there for two night in September. I have been fooled by the positive reviews. Of course it is not expensive compared to hotels in Rome. But there are many problems in this B&B and I do not understand how it received that many positive comments. List of problems : - the room is extremely small - the bathroom... More

The B&B itself is located in a good area close to most attractions. You have all you need within your room. Reasonable price for our 3 day stay. The rooms are smaller(European style) but still have plenty of room for everything. The breakfast was authentic Italian style with a hot croissant as well as yogurt fruits and a selection of... This B&B was amazing. Very well located and with an amazing Staff. Mario the owner is super nice and helpful. Near to Terminini and Piazza de la Republica. I'll be coming back to this B&B on my next stay in rome for sure.

Hotel has perfect location, it only needs 15 mins from Termini Station to the hotel. Hotel owner, Mario, he is a very kindly person and help us a lot for my Roma trip. The breakfast is good, all you can eat such as bread, yoghurt and coffee.

Mario Fabio is an excellent host! He is always available, very friendly and very welcoming. Our room was very big, clean and recently redone. The breakfast served was ok but very basic, as is common to Rome. We'll definitely consider going back on our next trip to Rome!

We stayed for 3 nights at the Horti Sallustiani - there are two sites and we were shown to our room which was on Via Raffaele Cadorna, just around the corner from the other site. Both sites are really well located for a stay in Rome; most attractions are within 30 minutes walk (the Vatican being the exception) but excellent... More

Very enjoyable stay in Rome at this B&B, the owner Mario is very friendly and helpful. We sent him our check in time in advance and he met us at exactly that time. We had to check out early in the morning and he accomodated this no problem, and even left us breakfast the night before so we wouldn't go... More

The Agli Horti Sallustiani is a well-situated bed and breakfast, only steps away from downtown Rome and all the city's famous attractions. The owner (Mario) met us at the door upon arrival and showed us to our room which was modern, clean, spacious and quiet. Mario is attentive, kind and accommodating. The breakfast was simple, yet satisfying with fresh cappuccino... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
