We chose this B&B for it's good value and high reviews on this website and we were not disappointed. Mario, the owner, contacted us via email straight after booking to thank us for choosing him and to let us know information about how to get to the B&B which was greatly appreciated. When we arrived after a nightmare journey, Mario... More

Hotel is very near to Piazza della Repubblica - walking distance. Very clean and quiet. Owner is helpful. It's a 3 rooms b&b. Don't expect too much from the breakfast but it's ok if you consider the price you pay.

A bed and breakfast in Rome in a great location on the north edge of town 10 minutes from the station. This is basic accommodation but very good quality. The room was elegantly dressed and very clean. The bed was fantastic, large and comfortable and the en-suite was compact but satisfactory. Clean towels as often as required. Breakfast at whatever... This was our first trip to Rome and we didn't know what to expect but we were very happy with this choice. A nice, clean, basic room nothing fancy but everything you need. The owner Mario was very nice and attentive , he went out of his way to make sure we were happy. The breakfast was good, with a... More

This B & B was in a great location and neighbourhood, walking distance to the Barberini square and all other sights. We walked absolutely everywhere although there were plenty of other transport options handy as well. Our room was spacious in a lovely old building, surrounded by plenty of local restaurants and wine bars which served great food and reasonable... More

My partner and I stayed here for 5 nights in September. We were extremely happy with our stay. Mario the owner was extremely accommodating. Imelda the housekeeper, was the sweetest lady ever. Appreciate the breakfasts and morning chats! Agree the lift is a bit on the tiny side but this was not an issue for us. We found the neighborhood... More

We stayed at the B&B for three nights in August 2015. When we first arrived we had to call up the owner on his cell phone and wait a bit until he arrived but he welcomed us very nicely and did his best to make our stay a nice one. The B&B is on the fifth floor - rather high... More

I don't need to stay for a week at this B&B to see WHY Mario Fabio won the Tripadvisor's Certificate of Excellence! That says it all. As a host, he is the BEST I've ever known. After being warmly welcomed by his sweet housekeeper Imelda and her refreshing juice, me and my childhood friend Cisca met Mario Fabio- instantly impressed... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
