We had a great time. Marco and Serena were so helpful and accommodating. The room was lovely and the breakfast was terrific. We were there for a holiday in Rome prior to a cruise. With their help we were able to book walking tours and get into the Borghese Gallery. We will be back.

I visited the Deko Rome for the second time in November, and was just as pleased with my stay as on my first visit. This time I was traveling by myself on a business trip, and stayed in a smaller room on the other side of the hotel (I was in the two-room suite with my family on our first... More

I knew I wanted to celebrate my birthday in Rome this year. So after months of research, Deko Rome captured my idea of where I wanted to stay in Rome. This is the crown jewel of hotels in Rome. Small yet exquisitely beautiful. The location is perfect. Near various off the chart restaurants. It isn't too far from any of... More

My partner treated me to a trip to Rome for my 40th Birthday and he was fortunate enough to find Deko. He had read the wonderful reviews and I am pleased to say that Deko lived up to our expectations. We were a gay couple and we received the warmest of welcomes. I'm puzzled by a previous (suspect) review which... More

The Deko Rome is an awesome hotel. The rooms are well kept, modern, and comfortable. This hotel is located in a safe & convenient location. The Vatican, the Colosseum, and other landmarks are close by, about a 10 minute Taxi drive away, or you can even walk. The Deko staff are the kindest and most accommodating people I have ever... It takes some serious efforts to earn the rating #2 of 1,270 Hotels in Rome. Well, it's well-deserved. Superb residential and luxury hotels location (US Embassy is just around the corner), new beautifully appointed rooms, good staff, and last but not least the friendly hosts: Serena and Marco. Car rental return locations off Via Sardegna for Avis, Budget, and Hertz... More

My husband and I decided to go to Rome for the weekend to get away from our busy London living. I was given the responsibility of finding a hotel and for the first time I used trip advisor and the people's reviews to find something different. I simply looked for boutique hotels and peoples reviews and found The Deko Rome.... More

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. Location is in a lovely, safe area of Rome close to many restaurants, shops, atm and a convenience store in the next building. The hotel has 6 rooms and is located in a historical baroque building which adds to the magic of being in Rome. The hosts, Marco and Serena go out... More

When we arrived in the evening after long day of traveling, Marco met us at the door, welcomed us with a glass of Proseco, and sat down with us for over 1/2 hour while he marked everything on the map for us: where to go, best way to get there, what restaurants are good, which ones to avoid. He made... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
