Probably the best all round hotel near Campo de' Fiori, which is probably the best area of Rome. I stayed for only one night as they were otherwise full, which is no surprise. The location is excellent and the building itself is ancient (in a good way) and full of history. Rooms are simple but nicely decorated with beautiful dark... More

We love Rome and this was our fourth visit to this great city. We found this hotel to be in a good location for all the sights. Campo di Fiore is very close and an interesting place to wander around, day and evening. The room was spacious, clean, and quiet, and comfortable. The staff was always very pleasant and eager... The Hotel Teatro Di Pompeo is centrally located in Rome. You could walk everywhere. Piazza Navona was only a 5/10 minute walk and the cafes of Piazza Campo de'Fiori were steps away from the hotel. The rooms were very cozy and the staff was very friendly. Lastly, the breakfast included hard boiled eggs, which is hard to come by in... More

Stayed for 4 nights at the beginning of August with a family consisting of my husband and myself, 2 teens(15 and 17) and elderly parents. The rooms were clean, generously sized compared to many hotels we've stayed in in Europe, and the bathrooms very adequate (though I've never figured out the European fascination with the half shower door on the... Just returned from a trip to Italy where we spent the last two nights in Rome at the Hotel Teatro Di Pompeo. I fell compelled to write this review on behalf of one of the staff members at the front desk-Paola. I have never encountered a more helpful, pleasant front desk person in all my travels. It is obvious he... More

This review is a bit belated as we stayed at Teatro di Pompeo in March. This hotel is in an unbelievable location right near Campo dei'Fiori and not far from Piazza Navona-- all for a great, mid-range cost. In addition, the service we received was exceedingly friendly and helpful. The room was clean and charming. We are planning to stay... More

I stayed here very recently, from the 22nd June 09 to the 26th. It was my 3rd trip to Rome, so I knew the area quite well and picked this hotel mainly because of it's location but also because of the history it lies upon. It is a stones throw from the Campo dei Fiori (a great little market square)... More

We stayed at the Teatro di Pompeo from May 30 to June 1, 2009 after a 14 night Best of Italy Cruise. The hotel is wonderfully located, particularly for the Campo di Fiore, Plaza Navoa, and the old Ghetto. The Pantheon is also an easy walk. There are numerous neighborhood restaurants available close by; despite the central location, we found... More

Very good service and very professionally run. They anticipate your needs and quickly comply. Very clean nice size room and bath. We had a tub! Good hearty breakfast. Close to the ruins. Located in a residential area which let us observe everyday life. Thankfully we had soundproof windows that we could close if it got too noisy. Pretty view from... More
