We had a group of 6 on out adventure to Italy. Hotel Italia worked great. Close to a lot of beauty, great places to eat and the staff was wonderful. We would have like a bit more protein for Breakfast, but the food was great. Hope to return some day.

We chose this hotel after reading Rick Steves book and his recommendation and also reviews on Trip Adviser and we weren’t disappointed. The hotel is great, we stayed in one of the newer slightly more expensive rooms but it was well worth it, we had 5 nights in May this year. The rooms were lovely with plenty of room and... More

We stayed here for 3 nights, the r00m was clean and g00d size. The breakfast was ok. but the selection was not extensive, however, the coffee was very nice. I found the elevator lil' bit scary because it was an old fashioned and quite bumpy and only g00d for 2 people with suit cases. It is close to Termini Station... More

We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Italia in May 2015. The staff was very friendly and helpful when we checked in. There was always someone at the desk that spoke very good english. The room was beautiful and looked just as it does in the photos. It was very clean and the daily cleaning service did an outstanding job!... More

Very central to most of what Rome has to offer, totally adequate for our trip as you really do not spend much time in your hotel when there is gorgeous Rome to explore. The room was cleaned to perfection everyday, the rooms don't look quite like what the pictures show on there site but the bed was very comfortable, the... More

We happened to be passing through Rome once again this year and decided to return to Hotel Italia. Still love the quiet location, great breakfast, attentive certain and the hospitality the staff shows. Location is a few blocks from the metro and really easy walking distance to all the central tourist location in Rome. If we travel to Rome again... More

Very convenient location. Pleasant rooms spotlessly clean, well equipped with kettle, mini-fridge and hairdryer. Staff all courteous and helpful. Proximity of rooms to breakfast room and reception. Good range of choice for a continental breakfast.

We stayed at the Hotel Italia in April following a cruise. This was the third time that we stayed there and we wouldn't even consider staying anywhere else. We were fortunate to have stayed in one of the recently renovated rooms and it was absolutely fantastic and very comfortable! Even though we arrived early in the morning our room was... More

Stayed here in two rooms with my family and have to say the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Very strong English from the front desk staff and willing to answer any and all questions. The rooms were in the newer building across the street and as a result were very new looking. I can't comment on the older rooms... More

Staying in Monti

Neighborhood Profile
Monti
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.
