This was our first stop on our 17 day trip to Europe. We were here for 4 nights. The room was nice sized (compared to what I had read about European rooms), and the owners are very nice and helpful, both speak English well. The hotel is a bit hard to find, but they had arranged for a taxi to... More

After a recent transatlantic cruise my partner and I stayed at Locanda Al Viminale in Rome. Our room was very pleasant with a view of the Plaza. The building is a 19th Century townhouse with a portion devoted to rooms in Rome. It is very convenient to sightseeing, the main station, the metro, and is walking distance to many of... More

We stayed in Rome for 4 days at this "holiday rooms" as it is called by the hosts. It is perfectly located to see almost all sights in Rome by walk - though a stiff one! It is very near Via Nazionale- the main road that goes through most attractions - So you could catch a bus if you wanted... More

Context: My wife and I toured Italy, Germany and Switzerland for three weeks recently. It was our first time to Europe. We stayed in a combination of B&B's and hotels and the places we stayed were generally well reviewed on Trip Advisor. Pros: The owners are very nice, helpful and accommodating. They made sure we enjoyed the breakfast and suggested... More

We are sorry that your stay with us has been bad because Our main ambition is to make the best stay possible. If he had expressed his opposition, we would try to do more because we are always present and available. Our mattresses are orthopedic (for better rest) and antiacarian hypoallergenic. Until now, customers have thanked us for having rested... More

Perfect location in Rome, within easy walking distance of the major sights and of the train station (for arrival and departure). Very friendly family, who made us forget quickly the absolute shemozzle and nightmare that is the disgraceful non-EU passport control at Rome airport. Very comfortable bed in a nice room with lovely high ceilings. And the breakfast is grand.... More

This was a great place to stay - I have all wonderful things to say about it. Wonderful, helpful hosts, perfect location, great coffee, beautirul and clean. I stayed there for a week with my teenage daughter, but I would also recommend to singles, groups and couples. We walked all over Rome from here, and there are also good restaurants... More

You didn't taste my cakes ( crostate and torta di mele) but they will be better as soon as I finish the book you gave me ! From now, springtime, it is much more nice to move and walk from Locanda to all the monuments nearby. Also Vatican can be riched in 45 minutes walking under a warm sunshine More

Staying with Carla and her husband at Locanda al Viminale is a true pleasure. Their hospitality made us feel like were we visiting relatives. Due to the excellent center location expect noise and traffic at odd hours.

This hotel is located in an old convent near the Opera house in Rome. The hotel is very small with only a few rooms. You enter the hotel through a large wooden door from the street level and go to the second floor. When you enter there is a small lobby and all the hotel rooms open up to the... More

The B&B is situated next to the Viminale; as this huge complex is a Ministry it stays very calm till 9am :). There are only 4 rooms, recently refurbished, all on the 1st floor and accessible with a lift. Our room was the only one having a little balcony. Spacious room(20m²), tiled, with huge ceiling, airco & heating. Beds with... More

Me and my Fiancé stay here for 2 nights 29-31st March 2012 and would definitely come again. The room was always very clean and the bathroom is brand new. The location was excellent as all of the major sights are within walking distance. Carla was fantastic and could not do enough for us; I highly recommend this bed and breakfast.
