The hotel is located in Manzoni, which is two metro stations away from Telmini Station. The street from the station is dark at night even though quite alot of people are walking. If you are female and a solo traveler, it is not recommended to walk back there late by yourself. It is easy to get around to the city... More

It was my last day in Italy after a long trip so I needed a hotel near Termini with low price for solo traveller. Good location, clean small room, helpful stuff, good breakfast. The important detail: for a room you get only one login and pasword for wi-fi and can connect only one device during your staying.

Spent 4 nights in this hotel recently, it was excellent. Very clean and tidy. Friendly personal, everyone spoke English quite well and even recommended us some nice restaurant nearby. The hotel is situated near the metro so it is fast and easy to reach the center of the city. However it would be better to catch the metro from the... More

We picked this hotel to stay in, for 3 nights, as it was a reasonable price and the location seemed ok. Turns out it was a 15/20 minute walk from the Termini station, but only 2 stops on the metro to a station 5 minutes away which is well worth doing if you have loads of luggage and are coming... More

The hotel is conveniently located not far from Termini and 5 min walk from a metro station. Out of the 3 receptionists we met during our stay, 2 of them were very nice and helpful but one was not that great, not to say rude. The room was spacious with a big bathroom and recently refurbished. In spite of the... More

Stayed in this hotel for 4 days. The rooms(only about 8 in all since its a small hotel) although small but clean and comfortable. The hotel is 3 minutes walk from Metro station Manzoni(Redline - this connects maximum stations) and 20 minutes walk from Termini station. The staff are courteous but do not spaak English very well (which is a common... It is perfect hotel if you want value for money. Problem with big tourist cities is that most of cheap hotels are stinky, ugly, etc. But this is not the case. It is completely new renovated, fresh, clean. Breakfast is perfect, location is perfect. It is 10 minutes walk from Coloseo, no need for further explanations. From Termini it is... More

Stayed one night before an airport departure, so needed to be near Termini station (a 15-minute walk). The neighborhood has considerable trash on the streets and sidewalks, compared with the Rome neighborhood we were in upon arrival for this vacation. But, the district housing looks like it once had prestige (I learned the Ambassador from England resides a couple of... More

This was a very nice small hotel. It was slightly off the beaten path away from the Spanish Steps and other areas full tourists and overpriced hotels. Yet we were a block away from the Manzoni metro stop on the red line so it was easy to get to anywhere we wanted: 7 stops to Vatican City; 4 stops to... More

We stayed at la locanda mid august and we had a very good service from the staff. Although the room was quite small (we were three), it was very clean, the bathroom was huge, the staff was great and very disponible, the breakfast was diversified and its well located just nearby the Coliseum.
