If your'e planning on going to Rome and stay comfortable, safe and clean; this is a great place! I stayed November 2014 with my mom, excellent service, good breakfast, easy to find if you've never been in Rome. Very close to Manzotti station (5 or less minute walk, at night is kind of dark but the neighborhood is safe and... More

Location of the hotel is perfect: within a walking distance from Termini station, Colosseum, other major attractions and just a few minutes from Manzoni metro station. It's on a quiet street, so the outside noise is not a problem at all. Inside it can be a problem though, as you can hear the sounds from the staircase and sometimes even... More

To arrive in Rome and discover that where you have booked has shut down rattles you a fair bit, especially when you don't speak Italian and you have no idea where you are. Luckily a lovely woman in a restaurant next to our origin accomo recommended La Locanda, rang them for us to make sure they had a room and... More

First of all we were sent to another place to stay - annex apartments- Domus, although we booked for a hotel, located nearby 2 streets away. The staff was very nice trying to make the most of what they had to offer. Room was small but clean with well equipped bathroom. The hot water was a problem 5 seconds very... More

Booked this at the very last minute as an emergency. Four minutes from Manzoni metro station. Lovely and clean with beautiful rooms for the price, it's a refurbished convent. Very clean. Staff very helpful and charming. They were extremely nice when we trolled up for breakfast at 1015, thinking it was 9.15 because we had failed to change our watches... More

This small hotel is an ideal place to explore Rome. The hotel is comfortable, prices less than central Rome. The hotel is only a few minutes on foot from Manzoni metro station, two stops from Termini. There is a choice at breakfast between sweet and savoury dishes. The staff are friendly and helpful, they recommended a restaurant nearby which we... More

We were there in September,2014. It was a very clean room, size was good. Our room was on the third floor. They served a very nice complimentary breakfast in the morning. Rooms have AC. Staff is very friendly. You can walk to Colosseum from the hotel. Also for the town center, metro station is just steps away.

I traveled with my friend. We really enjoyed our long weekend stay. The hotel is very clean. Rooms are small but comfortable and have everything what you need. Free WiFi included. Breakfasts were delicious and staff quite friendly. The hotel is near Manzoni metro station (two stops from Termini). The only thing I really did not like was noise. You... More

As soon as we step out of Rome termini, tourists everywhere. The hotel takes about 20 mins walk from termini which is great: away from busy tourists and noise. It's a block away from the metro. We were given the room 101 which is in the courtyard-very relaxing. The room and bathroom are tiled floor means its very clean. Very... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
