Stayed for 4 nights with my 7 month old son. (side note: Romans LOVE babies! I was pleasantly surprised at their attentiveness and helpfulness!) Staff very welcoming, relaxed and helpful, e.g. carried my pram up and down the stairs whenever they were around (there is a small lift but my pram was a bit too big to fit) and offered... More

No problems at all! Kind service easy to get contact by sms and both Fransesca and Dario very helpfull. Rooms inside the house. Little difficult to find way in from the street. I recommed contacting by phone or sms. Clean, quiet rooms. Not a seven star high class superhotel but very good for the money you have to pay. Location... More

Everything was just perfect. Francesca and Dario, owners of the b&b were amiable and hospitable. Rooms were cleaned on a daily basis. High speed wi-fi internet, towels, in-room safe and Italian breakfast were included in the price.

We have been here for a hole week, and we have been living just as it was at home! Francesca and Dario have been so sweet to us and really helpfully! Af few days before arrival, Francesca texted us to offer pickup and confirm the arrival time. Even though we arrived at 2300, they were both here, to introduce the... More

Mancini we arrived at 7pm de last day. In Rome, we spent more than an hour looking the B&B. When we finally found it, we discovered an apartment. In the door there was a small card with only a few details of the owner of the hotel. We knocked the door and after a while, some young person told us... More

I did not provide a rating for the room or cleanliness because I wasn't able to go in - there was nobody there. We made the reservation online for a large group. When we arrived it was incredibly hard to find the bed and breakfast, since there is (literally) no signs or anuthing outside the building. We asked several people... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
