we love our stay ,room was a little run down but the atmosphere and position, made it all fine. the morning breakfast on the roof was perfect, but beware of the monster seagulls. the paintings in our room were the point of much conversation with friends all over the world on FB

The room wasn't luxurious, but it was perfect for us. We've stayed in two other locations in Rome, but this was perfect for this trip. The room was the largest and had the most storage of any we'd stayed in. The bed was comfortable too. Yes, there was a bit of street noise, but we slept just fine. The small... More

My two sisters and I stayed at Hotel Antica Dimora de Michaelis for 4 nights during our Italian Vacation and we had a great experience with this hotel. The hotel is conveniently located just off of Piazza Navona and was close to everything! The staff at the hotel was extremely friendly and helpful. Rome is a confusing city to navigate,... More

We stayed here when visiting a friend in Rome. After looking at lots of options in the area we settled on this one. We contacted the hotel a couple of times to ask questions and check a couple of things and they always responded really quickly. Check in was really quick although it was in another close by hotel. We... More

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights in early March. The location is amazing, breakfast on the roof provided a great view of Rome and enough options to get you through to lunch. We enjoyed how large the space was and the overall comfort of the room. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Rome!

My partner and I stayed here for 3 nights over the Valentine's period, I was pleasantly surprised by the room it was very grand and beautifully decorated. The beds were made daily aswell. The only thing that I can criticise is the street noise it does get quite noisy on an evening and early morning but other than that it... More

We changed from a horrible hotel on our first night to the Antica Dimora and loved it. It's more like an apartment though than a hotel (although without kitchen facilities), so I wouldn't recommend it for business visitors. For a couple it's perfect. The room was enormous and we could come and go as we pleased. It was extremely clean... More

I stayed at this hotel with my wife for three nights in January 2015. The hotel is in an excellent location, equally distant by 10-15 min walk from all major attractions (not a simple thing in Rome), with a direct bus to the Termini station (line 70). The room was spacious and very beautiful and cost about 70 Euro a... More

Having seen the photos, I was super excited to come here. We booked the most expensive room and presumed that was the one in the photo seeing as that was shown on our booking confirmation. Imagine my disappointment when we were shown to a room half the size, different paintings, different furniture, different flooring. Mind you, the wallpaper was the... More

This hotel is a block from Piazza Navonne and a 15 minute walk to the Vatican, surrounded by lots of restaurants. It is part of a two part hotel, separated by about 100 metres, with very helpful and friendly staff. Has an elevator which makes it easy to get suitcases to the room. Modern room facilities. Would stay again.

Staying in Navona / Pantheon / Campo de’ Fiori

Neighborhood Profile
Navona / Pantheon / Campo de’ Fiori
With three of Rome’s most beloved piazzas within a five-minute walk of each other, the Navona/Pantheon/Campo area may be the prettiest and most picturesque area of the city. Join the beautiful throngs hanging out in cafes, boutiques, art galleries, and wine bars, or peek at a neighborhood museum or monument. If you want nonstop movida, the streets here are busy with chic bicyclists and Vespa drivers, street vendors, merchants, and locals. There is no rhyme or reason to its winding streets and there's something to see around every corner, so take pleasure in a spontaneous wander.
