This place was wonderful. Perfect terrace view that is very quiet and relaxing. David is AWESOME!!! He is sure to help you feel as comfortable as possible. The room was perfect size for a couple and the location is amazing for exploring Rome. We stayed for three nights and just loved it. Very affordable, very quaint. Great job David! Grazzia!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Zen Trastevere in the charming Trastevere neighborhood. If you're going to stay anywhere in Rome, this is the perfect location. Not only does Trastevere have a great nightlife and restaurants, but it's within walking distance of most major touristy sites in Rome. The room itself was clean and comfortable with a newly renovated bathroom.... More

Stayed in Zoe bed&breakfast for a week in May. The location could not be better. Very helpful staff and handy pick up from the Fiumicino. Room good size and clean. If I had to say something to improve is that some mornings you feel like sleeping longer. But here I felt like you don't have the chance because they want... More

We stayed here with a group of 6, sharing all three rooms. The rooms are spacious, clean, air-conditioned and within walking distance from all attractions in Rome center. There are plenty of restaurants in the area. The staff is very friendly and are very helpful. Davide arranged our transfers from and to airport and Desire showed us how to get... More

Stayed at this lovely B&B in the heart of Trastevere. Walking distance to all restaurants, tram, taxi. Thanks to Davide, Deserie and Katia who made our stay even better. Room was clean with balcony and breakfast was very good. Davide even drove us to the Amalfi Coast and booked us accommodation at a much cheaper price than we were going... More

I can recommend to stay in the Trastevere area in Rome. This B&B is located perfectly. Close enough to all sights (walking distance) and also close to lots of local restaurants. Davide and his cousins running this place are all very nice and helpful (giving tips of where to go, etc). The bathroom however is quite small. All very clean... More

Katia and Davide make this an absolute must stay. From the time of our booking Davide contacted me via email and stayed in contact up until the moment of our arrival. We were traveling throughout Italy and decided to come in a day earlier. Davide (while on his honeymoon) made arrangements with Katia for us to stay at his own... More

we followed some reviews on here and were apprehensive, little did we know how silly we were. we were greeted at Ciampino by the bubbly and knowledgeable Katia who , along with her stylish fiancé Paulo, drove us to our destination. Well worth paying the extra for the transport provided as Katia gave us a little mini tour on the... More

Very nice B&B in a great location. Friendly and helpful owners, clean and spacious room with very comfortable bed. We had the only room without balcony but got the balcony at kitchen instead. Simple but good breakfast with fresh warm croissants. Like staying at home :)

Rome was the last stop of my week long Italian adventure with my sister and the best part of our entire trip! Thanks to B&B Zen Trastevere! It is in an extremely ideal location, a 3 minute walk to the restaurants and bars of Trastevere, one of Rome's best nightlife areas. At the same time, the apartment style B&B was... More

Staying in Trastevere

Neighborhood Profile
Trastevere
Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded postcard, a little worn around the edges but still charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of entertainment - a rotating set of street performers entertains almost every night, and unforgettable eateries and bars pepper its piazzas and side streets. For a trip to the past, visit the southern and western flanks of Trastevere for pockets of yesteryear, less traversed areas with a residual 1960s and 70s Roman vibe.
