We stayed 3 nights and we enjoyed very much our stay at the hotel. The hotel is nice, the tram is at 100 m and you can take the metro, in 10 minutes you are in the centre. The breakfast is good and quite decent in terms of italian hotels. You have a great view from the 5-th floor where is... More

We stayed for 4 nights and we enjoyed the experience very much. The staff were amazing, offering advice on local restaurants, transportation and bringing us more tea bags (you can take the Englishman out of England but...) Rooms were cleaned well and bathroom was nice and spacious. I like the fact they provided a free minibar with bottles of water... More

a bit expensive, but well placed and great view on StPeter's from the top floor. Otherwise above average when it comes to *** hotels in italy. sound insulation could be better, but not a problem per-se

Friends told us about the best western hotel astrid in Rome and..we decided to book here for our few days vacation in the eternal city.We definitely suggest this hotel for the central location and the efficient pubblic transportation nearby (1minute walk) but exspecially for the excellent service we had!!!Elegant, clean and comfortable rooms plus a unique breakfast on the rooftop surrounded... The hotel was recommended to me by a work mate. We stayed for 3 nights Friday to Monday and paid 170 euros. The hotel is in a great location. The tram at the end of the street takes you to Piazza Del Popolo where the Metro is located. The rooms are clean and tidy with a free mini bar that... More

The hotel is somehow distant from the city centre, but accessible via tram (or taxi during the night). Rooms are adequate, however the view on the internal courtyard is definitely not glamorous. Wifi is very very weak. On the positive side, staff is helpful and breakfast is served on the 5th floor from where you can enjoy a great view... More

It was the best room I ever stayed in Rome - spacious, airy, clean, with some free ordinary refreshments from the mini-bar. Window view at St Peter's dome in far away and at Tiber just across the street. The location is excellent if you're having some work in MAXXI museum and Auditorium della Musica, like we did. On the other... More

Nice location beside the river. A beautiful staircase and ornate lift takes the visitor back to a bygone era. Staff on reception were pleasant and helpful. Wifi worked fine. On the downside, my single room was the smallest I've encountered in a long time (definitely not for claustrophobes), with a poorly finished ensuite. Overall, I'd consider this to be "adequate"... I had an inside single which was small. The first had me on fifth floor opposite the breakfast room at is was loud staring at 7am. I asked to be... More

Staying in Flaminio

Neighborhood Profile
Flaminio
The Flaminio area has been making a name for itself as a hub for contemporary architecture and art. Over the past decade, Flamino’s grassy knolls have seen the rise of cultural centers - amazing feats of architecture like the beautiful Ponte della Musica, the wavy contemporary art MAXXI Museum, and the futuristic Parco della Musica, a music complex where international names perform. Flaminio also has traces of the 1960 Olympic Games with Palazzetto dello Sport and Villagio Olimpico, the athlete’s Olympic village turned residential housing. If culture means a ball and a foot, keep your eye on the prize: Rome’s famed Stadio Olimpico soccer stadium is just a short walk across a bridge.
