Nice and clean hotel...Edouardo and Sylvia received us with a smile and warm welcome; were very helpful planning our days while in Rome. They gave us a map and marked all the Attractions making it easy for us to walk around. Location is great, 10-15 mins walk to the Spanish Steps and Shopping stores in Via del Corso. Fillipo assisted... More

I got an email from the hotel on my way to the airport that there was a problem with the room and I couldn't take it. It was too late for me to find anything else. They did put me up in another place which was ok but not at the same level yet I still needed to pay the... More

Friendly, Clean, Great location, welcoming staff, great advice for places to see and things to do when in Rome. 30 min from Roma Termini, small supermarket 30 min walk across Fiume Tevere. Close to all popular sightseeing locations. 100 year old hotel in a fabulous location!

The hotel was in an ideal location situated next to the Tiber, perfect for exploring central Rome to the East and the Vatican to the West. The staff were polite and accommodating responding to all our needs and requests. The 'Happy Hour' in the early evening was a nice touch when guest could enjoy canopies and wine for free between... Very nice hotel. Very well located. Quiet rooms, but some noise made by other guests in the corridors during the night,Very clean, great and usefull staff, nice breakfast. Our rooms were a bit small, but that's ok, just for sleeping. Will return again .

First time visit and of course we'll be back with kids next time. Great location, walking distance from all locations you plan to visit in a quiet neighborhood. Nice restaurants (i.e. Vito's) and not touristic ones, nice cafes around the corner. The room is very basic and cleaned daily. Stuff is very helpful !!! Only problem was with wi-fi access.

The location is very good with almost all the sites within a walking distance. And the staff there are all very nice and helpful. The only thing that can be improved is that the shower place is a little bit small for my father.

Booked this hotel for my partners Christmas present. Once arrived we were allocated a room in the annex building. Up 4 flights of stairs and lift was broken for first few days but fixed as promised. Room was very basic, but couldn't fault the cleanliness it was maintained everyday by the cleaner. Fresh towels, bed made, bins emptied and room... More

This was our second visit to the Hotel Sant' Angelo, the first being in 2003. Because of the time span, I feared that it might not meet my expectations on this trip. It EXCEEDED them n every way. Rooms were fresh and updated, including flat screen TVs and a tea service tray. The WiFi worked great everywhere we went in... More

We were visiting Rome for 3 nights with our two older children (20 and 17). Hotel Sant Angelo is such an authentically Italian hotel. It was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The breakfast offered a good selection and plenty of food. The staff on reception were very welcoming and helpful. The area around the hotel has some lovely restaurants to... More

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
