This is our first time in Rome & we were pleasantly surprised by the hotel. We had booked after reading TripAdvisor reviews and location. No request is too much for the great staff of Hotel Sant Angelo. Very friendly, they help you out with everything from sightseeing, mapping out good restaurants and bars to having a great chat. Rooms are... More

Very nice and we'll situated hotel central in Rome. The hotel is very clean and nice. I had a small single room. But enough place for me. The room was well equipped with all the facilities I needed. I like when hotels have hot water boiler in the room so I can make myself a cup of coffee when I... More

We stayed for 9 nights. The receptionists are very nice and helpful. Our cost averaged $100 per night including breakfast. As is typical of Rome and other European cities, the rooms are tiny. Air conditioning could not really keep up with the 100 degree weather and the bathrooms are TINY. Our shower was about 20 inches by 20 inches... if... More

We used this hotel three weeks ago..... In the beginning they gave us room in their other building, in that time the elevator was down so we have to go to fourth floor with our luggages by stairs. The building, room, and furnitures are old. The room very small and the bathroom not that clean.. Then they moved us to... More

Dear Sir, all our rooms are furnished with antique and unique pieces from the '900, the building itself was erected in the early 1910s, determining also the shape of our rooms, being set in a historical building in the centre of Rome. All the main attractions of Rome are very close and easily reachable on foot in less than 10... More

I really like the atention of this hotel they are really kind and they help you a lot but the single room it was really small and basic for.the price that I paid. But the rest of it I like it a lot, they are really polite and if you need something they make the things easier for you. Really... More

From being invited to organise traffic to and from the airport, to the final trip to the airport, the whole stay was very accommodating. The location was handy about equal distance from the Coliseum and the Vatican. Great breakfast. Lovely helpful staff. The room was fine for a single guy travelling on his own. Very neat lift and access in... More

Lovely hotel within walking distance to Spanish Steps and the Vatican. Rooms are decorated elegantly with beautiful furniture. Very comfortable however air con was under window which meant when curtains were shut we didn't get the full benefit. Staff are helpful and hotel offers a happy hour each evening which consists of light snacks and wine or juice - perfect... More

We were very happy indeed with this hotel. We would have preferred to stay in the hotel itself but the Annexe (along the road) was perfectly acceptable. It is a lovely old building and you feel as if you have stepped back in time. Our view from our window was of a courtyard with scaffolding but it didn't matter; we... More

Our 5-day stay started with a friendly welcoming email a few days before we got to Rome, reassuring us that they were looking forward to our visit. On arrival the reception was warm and informative, even including a very welcome, old world, uniformed bell hop service to assist with luggage, which was gratefully accepted. Throughout our stay reception was always... More

Breakfast was very nice. Staff was very attentive (took care of a shower problem very fast). Location is great - walking distance from most tourist attractions. Two minor issues- the AC makes a lot of noise and we could hear the water running in the showers of the next rooms.

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
