The location is very good with almost all the sites within a walking distance. And the staff there are all very nice and helpful. The only thing that can be improved is that the shower place is a little bit small for my father.

Booked this hotel for my partners Christmas present. Once arrived we were allocated a room in the annex building. Up 4 flights of stairs and lift was broken for first few days but fixed as promised. Room was very basic, but couldn't fault the cleanliness it was maintained everyday by the cleaner. Fresh towels, bed made, bins emptied and room... More

This was our second visit to the Hotel Sant' Angelo, the first being in 2003. Because of the time span, I feared that it might not meet my expectations on this trip. It EXCEEDED them n every way. Rooms were fresh and updated, including flat screen TVs and a tea service tray. The WiFi worked great everywhere we went in... More

We were visiting Rome for 3 nights with our two older children (20 and 17). Hotel Sant Angelo is such an authentically Italian hotel. It was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The breakfast offered a good selection and plenty of food. The staff on reception were very welcoming and helpful. The area around the hotel has some lovely restaurants to... More

Hotel Sant Angelo is a fantastic little hotel in a great location. This was our first trip to Rome and the staff could not have been more helpful, they provided maps and advise to the best times to visit the major sights. We arrived at lunchtime and our room would not be ready until 3pm so the staff allowed us... More

I'm not sure how anybody could argue on value for money when it comes to this hotel. I have just returned from a fantastic stay here over valentines weekend and felt so impressed that I must write a review. Everything at the hotel was lovely. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was lovely, very clean and loved all the... More

I reserved a single room and it was given in the dependance without much information; then at arrival was informed that I had been upgraded free; room was in the main building. Ok. Very small, furniture was in poor state and room very basic. Clean, though. Minibar, safe, good the kettle. Bathroom was cramped and shower broken; not much hot... More

The hotel has an excellent location .the staff is lovely always there for you 24/7. Rooms are on a smaller side but the bed is perfect . Colosseum was the furthest away at about a 30 minute walk. Coffee from coffee machine is perfect.

Very kind staff, nostalgic interior, clean, great location, value for money. Hotel offers a free 'aperitivo': free wine and snacks in the afternoon. Wide choice of breakfast. Coffee Americano (in a thermos) wasn't very tasty, but it is possible to ask for a cappuccino or an espresso!

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
