This hotel is an ideal location, you can walk everywhere and around every corner is a new delight. Upon arrival the hotel staff were really pleasant and helpful. Due to flight times we arrived too early to check into our room. However the hotel allowed us to leave our bags and offered us coffee and refreshments. When we arrived back... More

Fantastic location near the river, Vatican and Castel Sant Angelo. Many other major sights in walking distance. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful and despite staying in an annex to the main building, we received the same services as other guests. The wifi was not completely reliable but this did not detract from our experience. Wonderful cafe nearby on... More

No internet on the room, eggs in the breakfast like soup, very cold rooms, very noicy rooms. But its cheap and there is a reason for it. I Would paid some extra to take it up a level instead of sleeping here. Not reccomended.

Hotel Sant Angelo is placed in central area of rome. The most important sights are within range of 10 minutes to walk. (Except the colosseo area, which will take about 30 minutes). Reception is in the first floor, small elevator is available. We had a very small shower cabin but a clean and beautiful room. Personell is very nice and... More

I got an email from the hotel on my way to the airport that there was a problem with the room and I couldn't take it. It was too late for me to find anything else. They did put me up in another place which was ok but not at the same level yet I still needed to pay the... More

The hotel was in an ideal location situated next to the Tiber, perfect for exploring central Rome to the East and the Vatican to the West. The staff were polite and accommodating responding to all our needs and requests. The 'Happy Hour' in the early evening was a nice touch when guest could enjoy canopies and wine for free between... Very nice hotel. Very well located. Quiet rooms, but some noise made by other guests in the corridors during the night,Very clean, great and usefull staff, nice breakfast. Our rooms were a bit small, but that's ok, just for sleeping. Will return again .

First time visit and of course we'll be back with kids next time. Great location, walking distance from all locations you plan to visit in a quiet neighborhood. Nice restaurants (i.e. Vito's) and not touristic ones, nice cafes around the corner. The room is very basic and cleaned daily. Stuff is very helpful !!! Only problem was with wi-fi access.

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
