We booked accommodation with Hotel Sant Angelo 3 months in advance and got a fantastic deal. Throughout this time we had been messaging about shuttle services, baggage holding and details of our room. Before we flew into Rome we decided to email the hotel to confirm a transfer service. After several back and forth messages confirming details of the time... More

Central located, easily connected directly to the airport by bus, the most sights where in walking distance and the others could be reached easily with just one bus. Very clean hotel, nice breakfast and nice service.we hope we will visit this hotel again in future. Thank you! Visitors from Greece.

Good Hotel in a great location as we could walk to all the main attractions. The hotel was comfortable and the staff helpful. The room was very clean and I liked the heavy traditional furniture. The bathroom and shower are very small. The breakfast was good. I would recommend this hotel to family and friends.

Did a lot of research before we made the reservation; we wanted a mid-priced hotel, centrally located and easy access from the airport by public transport. The latter requirement leaves you with two options, either close to the Termini or the Piazza Cavour. As Piazza Cavour, to where there's a bus connection directly from the airport, is closer to the... More

A little bit of a let-down to be honest. Good location, not great but good, very helpful muti-lingual staff, but bathroom, furniture, services (unstable tv, wifi), sound insulation, not three-star level. Breakfast buffet a little stale, cleanliness ok as long as you don't look too hard. The best part is definitely the hallway...

Me and a college friend were spending 4 days in Rome and booked the Sant'Angelo because of it's good location and reasonable price. We definitely made a good choice. The hotel is within walking distance from all major tourist sites (Castel Sant'Angelo, Vatican, piazza Navona...) and the shopping area near piazza del Popolo. The room was clean and the bed... The hotel has a classical, romantic Italian feel to it and is situated in a great spot a few minutes' walk to Castel Sant' Angelo and just across the bridge from Piazza Navona. The staff were extremely friendly, professional and helpful at every stage. We throughly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend this hotel. Small note to travellers with... More

Walking distance to the Vatican, as well as to many other sites. We stayed down the street a short distance from the main hotel, but found the room clean and pleasant. The hotel offers free wine and snacks in the evening. Unfortunately, they weren't prepared for guests that consumed all the wine in the first 20 minutes. We found several... More

Having visited Rome previously and having a general idea of the layout of the city I chose this hotel based upon it's location and price and really could not have asked for more. The hotel was a quick and easy walk from the majority of the popular tourist attractions and the location made it easy to pop back to freshen... More

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
