Just back from a three night stay here with my boyfriend. We found this hotel a fantastic base as we were in walking distance of everywhere we wished to visit, the Colosseum was the furthest away at about a 30 minute walk. We opted to include breakfast in our booking which was pretty much standard hotel buffet. The staff were... More

I stayed at this hotel for a week for my surprise holiday given to me by my children. Excellent service and the staff was really helpful. At the beginning of our stay, the receptionists gave us a map, showed us where the main sights are and gave us tips on restaurants and places where to hang out. All of the... More

Some of the hotel rooms are located in a regular appartment house block away from the main hotel - this was our case. Cozy ancient lift to the 4 floor (quite slow). The location of the hotel is quite central, nice 5 min walk to Castel St. Angelo. Because of the remote location, we did not order breakfeast. No possibility... More

We stayed in this Hotel for six nights and even if I tried to find anything wrong with this hotel I couldn't. Stayed in the annex building and it was still a nice experience, even though It was a bit disheartening after reading the reviews on tripadvisor. Rooms may be a bit small for some people, but it was adequate... More

Check-in was a breeze, with the night clerk very welcoming. She gave us plenty of great information about the immediate area for dining, and went over the map with us to help prepare for the next day. The room was very spacious and very clean. The location of the hotel was fantastic. Easy walking distance to all the main sites... More

We booked Hotel St. Angelo for 4 nights and upon arrival, we were told that we were rebooked for our first 2 nights at a different 2 star hotel that was CLEAR across town in Termini district. The hotel gave us 10 Euro for a cab (which didn't cover the expense) and then moved us to a 2 star hotel... More

We just came back from this wonderful experience we had spending new year's eve in Rome and we have spent three nights in the eternal city. We arrived at the Hotel late night on December 30th and we have been immediately welcomed very warmly by giancarlo, the night clerk from Sicily. He was very nice and gave us very good... More

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
