Ideal location, good value for money and extremely kind and efficient service by all the staff – Jiovani, Silvia, Valérie, Ivan and others. La Francescana Trattoria - Pizzeria at a few steps from the hotel is highly recommended. Besides, there are nice coffee-shops nearby. The one improvement I would recommmend is the "sound-proofing" of the walls of the rooms. To... More

Absolutely wonderful, great location and fantastic quality. I personally can't find any downsides. Excellent service and friendly atmosphere. Marvellous rooms incredibly affordable. Really one of my favourite hotels, I can't wait to come back!

100% perfect. Great personnel, great attitude, very polite and accommodating. Very clean all around, close to everything and well worth a second visit. Nice happy hour serve, a very good idea to have a glass of wine with the rest of the hotel guests. Thank you Sant'Angelo!

Myself and my partner visited Rome for 4 days staying in Hotel Sant Angelo. Central location ideal for the Vatican but also for other major sights. Friendly welcome with hotel being in two parts at opposite ends of street. Room was small but clean and tidy. For its location I would recommend staying and when in Rome again would definitely... Incredibly Friendly, Great Place, Perfect Location! They noticed that it was my birthday from my passport and left a very friendly note and sweets, nice touch! We stayed in the annex building, which is a beautiful building with a small old style lift. Location is perfect for a few days break, in walking distance of everywhere. Great food places nearby... The location is great and almost walking distance to all major touristic attractions as well as the main shopping street. Friendly staff, good check-in experience - they took us through the city map and highlighted all the places worthwhile to see. The restaurant recommended by Hotel - La Francescana was really nice and and affordable. We stayed at room number... More

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights on our recent visit to Rome. What a gem of a find, we were quickly booked in and given a map of the local area with places of interest. The bellboy helped us to our room with our luggage. The rooms are very spacious and we had a queen size bed, very... More

Great location and lovely staff who were very attentive. Room was very dated and gloomy in the bathroom, it overlooked the roof and an office not very scenic. TV didn't work very well and no international channels. We would stay again, it fitted our requirements for a cheap break. Just needs a bit of room attention to go up a... More

We stayed in Hotel St. Angelo for 5 nights. We enjoyed its location on the bank of Tiber river and 10-20 min of unhurried walk till all main sights (incl Vatican), 5 min walk from airport shuttle bus stop (6 euro one way ticket). The hotel is very cosy and nice, with "family" atmosphere. It is located in an ancient... More

We stayed here for 3 nights over the past weekend and it was a real treasure of a find. All of the rooms are uniquely furnished with vintage/antique items, the beds were really comfortable and you were able to control the temperature yourself through the air con unit. The staff seemed to be really happy in their work, friendly, courteous... More

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
