I find choosing a hotel online is never easy with the pictures often looking far better than the real thing. This hotel however meets and surpasses all expectations! Located close to the river it is perfectly positioned for seeing all of the wonders of Rome. Greeted by the wonderful receptionist we were given a map with directions to everywhere we... More

I stayed here in November 2015 and it is in a fantastic location, everything is in walking distance and the furthest attraction away is the coliseum at 45 minutes walk (this was the only time we had to get a rickshaw half way back to the hotel as we were knackered). We had breakfast included which was a buffet with... More

We stayed here (4 of us) for my husband's 30th Birthday. The rooms we were given were next to each other, one facing the street and one in the courtyard. Lovely clean rooms, turn down service in the night. Really friendly staff, and very helpful with recommendations for places to eat (The Capri Restaurant near by is AMAZING - go... More

The room was very nice and large (for Italy standards). It had a queen bed and a sofa bed. Bathroom was updated and nice size. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and in a bright dining area. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our daughter's luggage was lost by the airlines and the staff was very supportive in helping us... More

Hotel well centralized for walking to Vatican and across the Tiber river. Personnel could not be more helpful and nice. Room with sitting area was exquisite. Wonderful start to an exciting vacation to celebrate our 20th anniversary and holidays .

From arrival to departure the ambience, the service, our room, the facilities and the location of Dei Mellini far exceeded our expectations .. even though these were high following our time in Venice as the first leg of our anniversary trip . All of the Eternal City's major attractions are within an easy walk (approx 20 minutes) or a short... More

Clean, bright, air-conditioned (wonderful esp in the summer months) in a quiet street.Staff speak English and are helpful. Rooms are lovely and sound-proof too. Breakfast is good and varied with a selection of fresh fruit also. We have booked again for this summer!

This hotel is situated outside of the normal tourist area and on the same side of the river as the Vatican. 10-15 walk to Piazza Navona and around 45 mins to the Colloseum. Unfortunately there is no restaurant but they do serve meals but we think they came from the restaurant next door (which menu did not look appealing to... More

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
