Taken some time to getting round to review this hotel but we had a great time very friendly reception team who made us very welcome even though I produced my Irish passport the day after the six nations game! Room was very large with plenty of space and very comfortable bed. Some decorating was going on near our room but... More

A pleasant 3-star hotel close to Metro stop on the (famous) Via Veneto. Nice buffet breakfast and free wifi. Have stayed at this hotel on several occasions and keep returning because of the convenient location to Metro and Rome attractions. Rooms are on the small side and some bathrooms are very small. Furnishings are adequate (even quaint). Rooms facing Via... More

If your looking for a typical Roman inspired hotel this is the place. Value for Money.. very reasonable. Location wise.. very accessible to metro (barberini station, 3 stations away from termini) conveniently located along via veneto which is very close to Trevi, Spanish Steps and some other touristic spots. Local roman restaurants are just few steps from the hotel. Osteria... More

Renovated hotel on Via Veneto about 50 meters from metro station. Walking distance to many interesting places. Excellent service at front desk. Good breakfast buffe. Room was quiet (when window was close) and had a nice view to Via Veneto.

Nice and helpful staff, great breakfast buffé. Not the most comfortable beds and a little tricky to regulate the AC, but everything else about the room was good. Fantastic location and wifi worked perfectly good.

Very nice hotel close to everything you want to see. It's right by the subway so it's a quick and easy trip to the Vatican and other sites. A lot within walking distance too! Staff was VERY helpful and we had great service while we were there. Rooms were small but expect that in Roma. Breakfast here was really good... More

Many things are old and not so functional in this place, that simply too much is different to what is advertised. Our family junior suite (booked for a family) was spacious, but two steps between master bedroom and kids room were little bit worring us for kid's visit to the bathroom in the nights. Furniture in the suite was simply... More

Good location near Piazza Barberini. Walking distance to Trevi Fountain and lots of restaurants. Room was nice but the floor had settled and was not level. Otherwise things were well kept for such an old building. Breakfast was nice. Our only complaint was that the eggs were very runny. Lots of good pastries.

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
