My wife, three kids and I stayed here at the beginning and end of our Italy trip. -Great location - walkable to MANY significant sights (Trevi, Spanish Steps, Coliseum, Pantheon) -Both rooms we had were spacious, one was more re-done and one was older -Service and staff were mostly very friendly -Rates are reasonable for rooms

As a price/value traveler, I would put the Hotel Alexandra at the top of the list. (I stayed at an comparable hotel in Regensburg for much higher cost) Hotel is well maintained; my (single) room had a newly renovated bathroom. A very nice and varied breakfast is served in attractive surroundings. The staff could not have been more helpful and... More

Had such a lovely stay in this hotel. The staff were so friendly, the room was beautiful and the breakfast the next morning was delicious. As a solo female traveller I felt very safe in this hotel and walking in the area at night. This hotel has such an elegant feel to it, when I one day return to Rome... More

Great location! Hotel is nice, rooms are clean, service is good. We ate only breakfast in hotel, which was fine. But the most important is location, so we were very happy with this hotel... Few nice restaurants near by hotel.

This hotel is in a very good location. Spanish steps, Trevi fountains can be reached on foot. The hotel is perfect for people who have gluten intolerance. Hotel provides gluten free breakfast (bread, biscuits, corn flakes). Also there are 3 restaurants close to the hotel that provide gluten free meal (Via delle Quattro Fontane street). Gluten free options are available... More

Convenient for touring around Rome and a great value. Typical rooms for Europe clean with a lift and a good breakfast. Staff were very good and were helpful in getting around. We pre-booked the Hop & Go which is just down the street and had pre-booked the Vatican tour which we got to by taking the Metro at the end of... It's location is perfect, I'm travelling alone and had the cutest single room. Only problem was air conditioning not working properly, so a little sleep deprived as quite warm. Breakfast was ok but easy to go get espresso and cornetto anywhere. Eating right outside door. Main thoroughfare right outside, but quiet as.

LOCATION: Excellent, at the beginning of Via V. Veneto. a minute from the subway entrance (though i strongly DO NOT recommend using it. Taxis are just a 3 min walk but hotel will gladly call one for you. In Italy you do not jump in a taxi just anywhere, you have to call it or walk to their stop. Walking... More
