The correct rating is between Average and Very Good. The location of the hotel is just great: walking distance to Fontana di Trevi, Piazza Navona, Piazza de Spagnia, Pantheon and, as a bonus, Barberini metro station.... The room - interesting story.... even the booked room was a normal double room, the room received (219) was not bigger than a looker... More

Have just returned from a 3 night break. We had a suite and it was perfect, great views and cheap minibar! Hotel is located 15 minute walk from Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon but a metro station is just outside and takes you anywhere. Lots of restaurants and shops surround the hotel. Would definitely stay here again!

Location - awesome, very easy to walk to all the attractions Service - amazing, all staff were very pleasant Rooms - not so good - very small, I couldn't stand straight in the shower as my shoulders were too wide. Breakfast - standard, nothing amazing but it did the job

The location is excellent. It is very close to Barberini Metro Station and next to many bus lines, driving you to all Rome point of interests. The area is really friendly, without having afraid of anything. The Room was very good. Clean, modern and big to walk around without any problem. The breakfast was good, but i would suggest to... We stayed from Thursday afternoon until Sunday morning. Perfect location for all the sights, we walked too or back from all of them, even the Vatican. Standard bedrooms were very basic, but we didn't stay in them much, bathrooms tiny but brilliant power showers. Breakfast was very basic could've been better. Staff great on our arrival (joseph) he was very... More

Right on the Via Veneto and close to the Barberini Metro Stop so perfect location. Room was big, bed comfortable and folks pleasant. Joseph helpful. Price was high but in line with its neighbours. Room itself was seriously fraying. A mash of different furniture thrown around including an old metallic silver vinyl tub chair and.....a stationary bike. No, seriously. For... More

Stayed one night during my business trip to Rome and would say it was a good hotel in a very good position (at beginning of Via Veneto) with an exceptional rate. I guess during other periods it's more expensive, but when I was there a got an unbelievable value for money. Please note it's more a Hotel for tourists, so... More

Spent four very enjoyable nights at the Hotel Alexandra, really central for the attractions and there are some very good restaurants locally. The Hotel was clean and tidy and the service was excellent, a good breakfast is available until 10:30 and the rooms are very comfortable.

Recently we staid in this hotel with my wife. It was our first time in Rome, therefore we were looking for a hotel close to metro station. This hotel is few steps away from metro Barberini and also within walking distance to all the main tourist attractions in the city. We booked a double room via booking.com, but upon arrival... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
