The location of this hotel is excellent if you want to go sightseeing in Rome. You can either walk to most places or get the metro which is nearby. The room was comfortable and quite large with a street view. There was a wide variety of choice for breakfast but the breakfast room can get rather busy due to the... More

Very nice location right next to everything in walking distance. The breakfast was rich with many options and the staff was excellent and qualified. The room was perfect and very clean. However if you stay in the rooms which have street view in via veneto,it might be a litle bit noisy.

We loved our stay at Hotel Alexandra. The location is very good and it is just a few doors down from a metro and bus stop. We generally walked to most sites which is easy to do. The front desk staff were very helpful in providing information and making recommendations for restaurants nearby. The room was very clean, comfortable and... More

We chose this hotel the second time around mainly because of location, its cleanliness and a nice breakfast in the morning. Many of the rooms have been updated in a sleek, contemporary theme. I had trouble with the lighting in the bathroom (being able to see to put make-up on in the morning). After bringing this to the attention of... More

This hotel is conveniently located close to metro and bus stops. We found getting around Rome on the bus and metro surprisingly easy and inexpensive. This hotel is near the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain, both of which were undergoing restoration work when we were there. Our room, 554, was recently refurbished and spotlessly clean. The room and bathroom are... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
