We enjoyed the hotel very much in all the aspects – location cannot be better (all sights, Metro & train stations, restaurants, stores are nearby or within a short walking distance) and it is situated in a beautiful green area. Courteous, friendly service began with the driver and the concierge, continued with the staff at the check-in desk, and went... More

Hotel Alexandria was a great hotel. Was in walking distance of Trevi, Spanish steps, pantheon, etc. Great restaurants close by too. People there were really helpful and nice. Quick ride to the colloseum also.

The location of this hotel is brilliant as it is right across the road from the capuchin crypts and within walking distance of pretty much every tourist attraction in Rome. It is because of this location that you would expect substandard service and basic rooms like other such hotels in Rome but it is exactly the opposite. The staff were... More

The best thing about this hotel is location, location, location. This hotel is located in a very trendy neighborhood. There are great restaurants around and you can walk to quite a few landmarks The train station is across the street and you can catch a cab at the corner at any time of the day or night. . Our room... More

This hotel is located in an awesome part of town. So much is within walking distance. Plus it's easy to catch transportation to go anywhere you want to go. Prompt check in. The man behind the desk spoke fluent English and was very helpful. One couple we were traveling arrived and their luggage did not and the desk man was... More

Recent visit to Rome booked this room thru go-today for two nights. Pictures deceiving room and bathroom extremely small. Bed hard and uncomfortable. Ac poor was 95+ temp outside. On positive side room had double window to street and staff very helpful and friendly.

We spent two nights there in a Junior Suite. Location is excellent. Although very roomy the overall condition of the room and furniture was average to below average. They need to bring their rooms up to the same quality as the lobby. Our visit was tainted by inadequate air conditioning in our room. The first complaint was met by a... More

Fist of all many thanks to the receptionist a fantastic guy that helped us a lot and that gave us all the right tips where to have also a nice dinner (we are Italian and he really is not playing with the tourists!) The room is... More

We only stayed 2 nights here before a cruise but we were very satisfied with our choice. The location was great as you could walk to most of the major attractions. The staff were all friendly and helpful.

We stayed here at the beginning of the month in a renovated room. Although the room was rather on the small side, everything was new and clean - just what you need when you're not spending a lot of time in the hotel room. The hotel is in a fantastic location, with Barberini train line right outside the front door,... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
