Fabulous room with beautiful traditional furniture and very clean. Great beds too. There is a lift in the building and a porter carried our bags. All the staff are very professional... More

The Via Veneto, the embodiment of "la dolce vita". I had stayed at The Excelsior for business several years previous to this visit. Beautiful, but very pricey, so I was looking for a hotel on the Via Veneto, and the Hotel Alexandra was it. It's small, as are most European hotels, but the location can't be beat. Just steps from... Hotel has a brilliant location - all the sights are near. Hotel is old, but renovated. The rooms are surprisingly big (we had one for three 2 adults + 1 child). Hotel's stuff is really polite and welcoming. They are ready to help in solving all the problems. I didn't like the breakfast. So I advise to cancel them and... More

The location of this hotel is excellent if you want to go sightseeing in Rome. You can either walk to most places or get the metro which is nearby. The room was comfortable and quite large with a street view. There was a wide variety of choice for breakfast but the breakfast room can get rather busy due to the... More

Because we missed our flight that morning, we got another flight that had a stop in Rome. Quickly booked the room while we were waiting fore the plain. Experience, service and hospitality were perfect. Thanks fore making, what started as a bad day having a perfect ending.

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
