Staff was very friendly and helpful. They made good suggestions for dinner as well as shopping. The lounge was quaint and Daniel was very informative and pleasant to chat with. The breakfast was good but also didn't have as many offerings as other hotels we stayed at in Italy. Nice staff and clean rooms. We enjoyed our stay and would... More

Stayed here for 4 nights. Beautiful hotel. Staff are very welcoming, warm and friendly. The hotel is modern, unique and is in a perfect location. There is a continental breakfast with enough choice and Marco is lovely to speak to. Staff there locate you a table and nothing is too much trouble. Termini is only a few minutes away. A... More

Having booked a package trip of London, Paris, and Rome, this was the smallest of our three rooms and yet it was our favorite. The staff and hotel are small in size but service and hospitality was not lacking. A pleasant 20 minute walk from the old city, my wife and I took a leisurely stroll to begin our exploration... We booked this hotel through a Costco travel package. The whole trip was great but this hotel, and proximity to many attractions, really kick started our first trip to Europe. The room was well appointed, large enough for three adults, and had a firm bed. It was close to the metro and a five-minute walk to the Rome termini to... More

My wife and I took our first trip to Italy back in March and this was the first place we stayed. The staff was extremely courteous. The rooms were nice, although the bed was pretty uncomfortable. The breakfast was very good and our waiter went out of his way to talk with us about different places to see and eat... More

Stayed for 3 nights in March. Well located within easy reach of main sights, and the bus/train station. Lots of good restaurants nearby. Room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was buffet style and ample for our needs. Free wi-fi with good coverage in room (we were on top floor) there was also a computer and printer outside the breakfast room... More

Convenient, clean, friendly staff, very good breakfast and wonderful little bar just off lobby. So glad we made this choice. Staff was very helpful in recommendations and we really enjoyed chatting with Danieli, the excellent bartender!

Decent location and clean room. I personally thought the beds were very uncomfortable, but the bath towels were nice and large. The front desk people tried to be helpful, but when asking for dinner recommendations, I'm not really sure they knew much about where they were sending people. They have a large drawer full of restaurant cards that they access... More

We had a nice, quiet room at the back of the hotel. Good breakfast buffet with excellent service. All staff was very friendly. Perfectly situated between the Termini station and the Spanish steps. It is located right next to the subway station of Plaza Republica, on the line to the Vatican and the Colloseum. If you like running, try the... More

Stayed 3 nights here in February. Had a room at front with a balcony. Very clean and recently refurbished. Staff very helpful and friendly. Excellent breakfast. Ideal location for train station and within walking distance of most of tourist attractions.

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
