Stayed a week with my wife and parents [October 2014], Hotel advertised as 4 star and pictures supported this. When we got there, decor was stunning, hotel was very clean and staff were very helpful and receptive. Reality slowly unfolded...... The hotel is very tired and in need of TLC and attention to detail. Skirting board missing, fittings loose, mirrors... More

Having read the mixed reviews I decided to take a chance. For the money I paid on Expedia, sadly I was disappointed. Our double room was very small, you could just about walk around the bed to get to the bathroom. There was aircon but no remote in the room for it. I presumed that was an extra. The pictures... More

I am surprised anyone gives this hotel good reviews. My room was small and dingy, the window overlooked an internal smoking area and stunk of smoke. The breakfast was dreadful consisting of hot dogs and cheap white rolls and bread. Nescafé was in the coffee machine . The only fruit was an orange or Granny Smith. Ok if the hotel... More

Whilst I agree with some of the comments re the star rating of this hotel (I too do not think it should be higher than a 3*) I can honestly say this was a really friendly, small hotel within easy reach of ALL the cities attractions. I did not go to Rome to sit in a hotel room .. I... More

What a big disappointment, despite nice cosy reception and at first sight decent hotel. I stayed in room #314 and I thought I had to "shrink" myself like a lilliputian : room extremely small (max 9m2) and very small bathroom. Didn't have a decent place to put my notebook and try to work lately, hence not even power plugs nearly... More

We stayed at the Hotel Turner in Rome for 3 nights, 4 days. Upon arrival into Italy you can purchase tickets on the plane for your transfer which takes you from the airport to the bus/train station which are together in one building for around 4€ each one way. Knowing beforehand that a bus was the best & cheapest mode... More

My stay at Hotel Turner was enjoyable, The hotel receptionists where very friendly and helpful, although breakfast could have been more varied. It didn't take us long to work to the center. We will miss the receptionist's.

We spent two nights at this hotel. It has nothing to do with four stars: the room was terribly small, TV without sound, pretty hot in the minibar, really loud air condition with weird sound, mold on the shower curtain...kind of disgusting. And yes, we should have got a welcome drink according to the booking but...got nothing at all. This... More

Transportation with bus a little bit trouble, although ,bus stop is just 10 meters away from the hotel but it takes... More
