I booked online and was wowed by the pictures as we wanted an authentic period hotel. On arrival we were given a room and we loved the decor. It may not be brand spanking new all over but it is luxurious and really interesting. Our room was great- cleaned every day with fresh towels. The staff are lovely, always ready... More

I would agree with those who say the hotel has seen better days. The décor is faded, though not a major issue and the style was similar to other hotels we have used in Rome. The breakfast was okay, though possibly more limited that one would expect from a hotel described as 4 star. Our main issue was the shower... More

This hotel is really good, old fashion Italian style, great location and good area. Very close to the main train station and good buses right in front of the hotel, nice street to walk. The breakfast is good, staff is very helpful. Very good choice in Rome!!

The Turner, unfortunately has seen better days front of house is magnificent with beautiful paintings adorning the arched ceilings and amazing marble staircase, but when you get up to the rooms it is a different story it has been previously reported that the Aircon is poor this is no exageration, I was forced to sleep with window open but as... We stayed at this hotel for 1 night (from Sunday to Monday), having stayed 2 previous nights in a different hotel, more centrally located near main attractions (Fontana di Trevi, Piazza Venezia). This hotel was exactly like in the photos shown on TripAdvisor (very epoque-like, with marble and granit throughout. Upon arrival, we were greeted by one of the Reception... More

The only good thing I have to share about Hotel Turner is that it has a good location. The hotel is by no stretch of the imagination four stars! I understand a little bit the variation in the European rating system but the Turner fails under all accounts. My bed was as hard as a rock, the breakfast spread was... More

We stayed a week at Hotel Turner in May. We had 2 rooms, the biggest things I wanted in Rome was aircon at night to sleep peacefully, enough out of the city but close for travel in, being able to walk around the neighbourhood exploring. The second 2 points were great, the hotel has a bus stop a few metres... More

We were very happy with our 5 night stay. Breakfast was the best out of all the hotels we stayed at in Italy...(eggs, ham, cereal, yogurt, fruit, pastries) which we missed at our other hotels. Staff was helpful and spoke English. We also enjoyed the rooftop bar on the 6th floor. The location is just outside the City Center, but... More

My Mother and I stayed at the Turner hotel for three nights at the end of March 2015. We arrived at the hotel late at night. We had requested a twin room, but found we were given a room with a double bed instead. We went back to reception to ask for the room we had originally asked for, to... More

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights, the staff were really friendly on arrival and helpful throughout our stay. As mentioned in previous reviews, the decor is a little 'rustic' but the room & communal areas were perfectly clean and well attended to. The room was on the small side but plenty of room for a 3 night... More
