Hotel is well located, it is on the 3rd floor of a building on via nazionale. AC power is weak in room, u will feel hot during summer period. Room was clean, bed comfortable Staff is average and not flexible Wifi is really bad specially in room (non existent) Breakfast very poor Location is the most positive point

Nice hotel for budget trip. Near to all city sightsee gas. Small clean room, cleaning is every day. Really small shower, water doesn't go well. All facilities are inside such as towels, shampoo and soap, so that was good. Great staff. Breakfast includes cornflakes, croissants, cheese cubes, jam, yogurts, some cookies and fresh brewed coffee from machine. Good place for... More

The hotel was on the third floor of the building. Because the elevator wasn't really up to task (max 2 people and a little bagage) we almost always had to walk up to the third floor using the stairs. When we arrived at the reception, we received a warm welcome. The reception clerk also explained us some more about how... More

A comfortable stay in a cosy room. Breakfast good with ample choice. Lift ok when other users remember to close the doors hence having to walk up and down several times! Beautiful entrance to the hotel and found easily on the road.

We noticed immediately upon check-in at midnight that the air con wasn't working in our room. The staff gave a surprised look and promised that a technician would come to fix it the following morning. Every day afterwards we asked them if the technician was coming out and every day we were told it would be fixed that day. On... More

We selected this hotel based on Tripadvisor, but we cannot follow other enthusiastic descriptions. The cleanliness is superficial, the breakfast is the typical Italian low level and the room is noisy based on the road and some live music bar outside around rhe corner and noise from the cleaning staff or other guests on the inside of hotel in the... The hotel is very well located. Rooms are a bit small but very clean and comfortable. Much more than I would expect from a two star hotel! Renovated bathroom and shower. The service is good, they are friendly. We were two and paid €50 a night, which was extremely reasonable for that time of the year!

The hotel is ok. The room is not big, but is more or less the sams size as other hotels. The cleaning is good. But the breakfast is horrible. I think they wanted to but a breakfast on the room price, but they didn't want to spend any money. So it has basically some bread, butter, coffee, jam and a... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
