Great location and beautiful room - very small but well designed (although it may have seemed too small if we'd stayed longer, as we were only there for one night). We stayed in Tommy's Room. Helpful staff - he let us check in early and on the first day and pick up our bags late on the day we checked... more

The location is the best - close to all the shopping, restaurants, metro and most attractions. Given the location, it is good value based on my research. The interiors were tastefully decorated. WiFi was sporadic though. The windows once closed insulated most of the noise. The bathroom was not in the same room, but it did not pose a problem,... more

I originally wrote this review back in September, but it was posted on the "Casa Howard Florence site" instead of Rome - I did ask Tripadvisor to change it to Rome but ... guess I'll do it myself ... I stayed for one night in the Tommy Room at the Via Sistina property, and found it far too small ...... more

We stayed in Blue Room in Capo le Case. Beautiful room. First time we've stayed in a room with bathroom down the hall, but this wasn't an issue at all. The room is just above a busy corner near Spanish Steps. Traffic is fairly loud but bed is very comfortable, curtains are heavy, and we were tired enough each night... more

After a lousy night at Hotel Stella, I searched for an comfortable, affordable and beautiful place to stay. For 90 euros I stayed at the 3 star Casa Howard. The decor was welcoming and comforting, the bed - beyond comfort expectations. And the beautiful orange shimmering swags and red decor of the Chinese room transformed my Rome experience. What a... more

I stayed at the Casa Howard on Via Capo le Case in Rome in May and can't say enough wonderful things about the experience. The rooms are lovely and outfitted with beautiful fabrics and interesting furniture...no aesthetic detail is overlooked. It's very clean and the beds are quite comfortable. The staff, who is part-time, is charming and helpful and very... more

We stayed in the Pink Room in Rome and thought the room was lovely - good size, nice bathroom, great location. But there is a big downside. They turn off the air conditioning at 7 p.m. and with the rooms located on a very busy, loud Rome street, keeping the window open is impossible. We passed several uncomfortable nights there.... more

Unfortunately we could only spend one night at Casa Howard Via Sistina as the House was already fully booked but we really enjoyed our stay. It was lovely to wake up with breakfast served in the room. We had the Tommy Room which is small but extremely comfortable and very tastefully decorated nothing like an anonymous hotel bedroom. The staff... more

I recently stayed at Casa Howard at the Via Capo di Case location (there are two in Rome). My husband was worried about costs, so I booked the least expensive room (The White Room) which was perfectly adequate, but just a little too small--I like to unpack, and there was no where to put anything. However, glancing at the other... more
