Stayed here with a group early February for the Italy V Ireland game. From start to finish we had an amazing experience. The group arrived together at check in and suddenly there were several check in desks opened. All was finished in 10 minutes. The staff could not have been more helpful. The rooms were amazing and the variety for... More

Checked in, had one of the old styled rooms, as not all rooms have been refurbished. Breakfast was plentiful and varied. Location in relation to other side of river good as very close, not many restaurants in the immediate area. We did find a lovely bar called Morrison's, Italian/British pub with great cocktails. Hotel was clean and staff attentive. We... More

Our stay lasted 5nights and our room was very well presented and cleaned regularly. The hotel was very modern inside and was decor was very pretty. The room was well worth the upgrade (to the premier) and had an incredible waterfall shower. Every member of staff we came across was kind and helpful made our time in Rome amazing. So... More

The hotel looks basic from the outside but inside it is lovely, the staff are really helpful, the room was great and the location to all the tourist areas perfect, everything within walking distance but far enough away that it isn't on top of you. On one evening there was a duo playing double bass and flute, Rosario Fuga, very... More

Brilliant hotel in a great location! All the main tourist attractions in walking distance. Friendly staff who couldn't do enough for us, hotel was clean and plenty of breakfast choice included in the price! Which was reasonable due to time of the year. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed in Visconti Palace in August for 2 nights. We had 2 rooms and the 2nd night the air conditioning was not working and they were very accomodating and made sure they found another room right away. Close to everything very good breakfast. We would stay here again and hope we can plan another trip to Italy.

The location of the hotel was brilliant, it was within walking distance of the Vatican City and the main attractions of Rome. The bus was only a few minutes away from the hotel which brought you directly to the Colosseum. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The rooms were very comfortable. Would highly recommend it and would definitely return.

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
