5 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

The location of the hotel was brilliant, it was within walking distance of the Vatican City and the main attractions of Rome. The bus was only a few minutes away from the hotel which brought you directly to the Colosseum. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The rooms were very comfortable. Would highly recommend it and would definitely return.

The hotel looks good enough from the outside but scores better still inside. It is pleasantly furnished and exceptionally clean. We got a fine room -- not huge but big enough -- for not much over £80 per night (breakfast included). Breakfast was very good (except less-than-hot water for tea, which they will doubtless fix). Apart from bar and room... More

Front desk, Breakfast and Bell Staff are extremely nice and very accomodating. I recommend you take a taxi from the airport (50 euro) as with most areas we walked in Rome there is very little parking. Breakfast consists of warm vienna sausages and bacon and funny tasting scrambled eggs. Traditional European breakfast otherwise with yogurt, fresh fruit, pastries, cereal, hard... More

Stayed at Visconti Palace in June of 2013 with a party of 4 (3 adults and 1 child), in a triple room. The room was not the biggest, but the washroom and bedroom was very clean. The room consisted of three single beds separated by night tables, and a dressing table with storage for clothing opposite the beds, with a... More

We stayed at Visconti Palace Hotel from the 16th-19th January, and absolutely loved it! When we arrived we were greeted by friendly and welcoming staff, check in was quick and easy and the staff were very helpful and informative on recommending nice, local restaurants for dinner! We had a room on the 6th floor, it was decorated to a high... More

A friend of mine had won a trip for two to Rome, knowing I travel a lot and have been to Italy several times, she asked me to accompany her as this was her first time in Italy. So you can say I was her private guide:). We stayed here in October and because it was my friends first time... More

Very comfortable and pleasant hotel. Our room was lovely, well appointed with lots of room. The hotel lounge was comfortable and welcoming, with excellent but discrete live music on some evenings. A good breakfast. Professional staff.

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
