Was an overall good experience. When checking in at the front desk, we were greeting by an extremely friendly and helpful lady who had lots of knowledge of the area. The place looks stunning, the roof terrace is beautifully set and a great place to chill out. Drinks were no more expensive than anywhere else in Rome. €6 for a... More

Our family rented three double rooms at this hotel. We had a wonderful time! It is close to everything. There is an elevator, so people with physical issues will be fine. The breakfast is outstanding! The staff were terrific, so helpful and knowledgable. They gave recommendations for restaurants, tours, activities, transportation, and on and on. They were so kind and... More

From the very friendly welcome at check in and check out, everything about this hotel was excellent. My husband and I stayed for 3 nights in 7th Heaven Suite 704, as it was our 25th wedding anniversary. Champagne fresh fruit in room upon arrival. Superb suite air con settings in lounge and bedroom which was ideal as it was hot!... More

We arrived at the Visconti Palace after getting a taxi from the airport. It was quite late and didn't really fancy getting the train to the Termini and then the metro to the hotel. Takes around 35 minutes. All the white taxi's cost 48 euro's to the airport, which is a little expensive but you're in Italy. So there you... More

Easy walking distance to many of Rome's sites and close to great local's restaurants. The staff is excellent and the rooms are clean and comfortable. This is a lovely vacation hotel that we will revisit.

Stayed here with my wife and my 3 year old kid for 2 nights on 12 - 14th August. Rooms were spacious.. Breakfast had a good spread.. Staff were courteous. Just I felt that the hotel was quite far from the main railway station.. Hotel was known to almost everyone we asked. So it was easy locating the place. And... More

Visconti Palace was excellent for the price, especially during prime tourist season in Rome. We had a triple room which worked well for our family of three. The room was small, but very workable as we spent little time there except to crash at the end of long days and evenings seeing the city. Breakfast is extensive and well prepared... More

Great location, within walking distance to the Vatican and easy walk to Spanish Steps and many of the Roman Squares. Nice local restaurants and cafes in the area. The rooms are comfortable and very clean. House keeping is on top of things. 7th floor roof bar is a nice place in the evening after a long day of touring. Very... More

When in the hotel, you are in the hart of Rome, you can go around walking to any visiting attraction you can think of, if the Vatican or any of the Piazzas taking a a short break for a famous Italian Ice Cream all can be done from the hotel

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
