Stayed here with my bride of 31 years and dear friends from July 23-July 25. While Rome was VERY hot, the hotel was quite nice inside. I read some bad reviews about breakfast, but didn't find any of the problems they encountered. We found the breakfast to be filling, enough variety and Ina word, "excellent.". We even had someone get... More

Just arrived back after a 2 night stay as a couple from UK. Area not pretty, outside looks run down. Tall lady on reception avoided eye contact when we tried to check in and waited for collegue to assist - be aware of addition city tax added to Bill. Superior double on 4th floor very run down. Looked like bathroom... More

We have stayed for a long weekend at Visconti Palace. Despite some boring surroundings the hotel is in a pretty convenient location to reach many attractions at walking distance. It was extremely hot in Rome and air conditioning system in the room worked well. The room we booked (Premier) was at a 6th floor and seemed to be just renovated.... More

Beautiful clean hotel, all the staff were lovely and friendly, nothing too much trouble, within about 10 - 15 mins walking distance of vatican, spanish steps etc. would definately revisit, close to bank and local restaurants

Whilst the room was quite small fora modern hotel and the thin walls let you hear a lot of noise from other rooms, overall this is a nice hotel. The buffet breakfast is fairly typical of a continental hotel.

I've been coming to the Visconti Palace for a couple of years now, usually on business trips. Location is great and their new (ish) grill restaurant on the roof serves amazing food and is great value for money. They've also just redone some of the rooms and the decor is modern with that Roman stylish touch. However, I think what... More

Just returned from our stay at the Visconti Palace. We were in a standard room on the first floor. Clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Beautiful roof top terrace and outside bar area on the ground floor. Breakfast was buffet style with bacon, eggs, ham, cheeses, cereals, pastries, fruits etc. More than enough to set you up for a... I had a wonderfull stay at Visconti Palace. Friendly staff, good room and the terrace on the 7th floor is perfect to chill in the late evening. Accompanied by relaxing and touching music from Rosario Fugà! Thanks for the inspirational conversation we had! Nearby the hotel there are serveral nice restaurants with affordable good authenthic food!

Great sight-seeing location - 10 mins walk from Piazza del popolo, piazza navona and the vatican - and super friendly staff. Double room was relatively spacious, with all a traveller would need to hand, very comfortable bed, clean roomy bathroom; continental breakfast was more than adequate, again very professional and friendly staff overseeing everything. Didn't use the bar or restaurant... More

My family and I stayed here recently and the room was lovely although I think we were staying on the 6th floor which had recently been renovated. What made our stay less than enjoyable was that the hotel was very much geared up for couples or business people and not at all for families. When we arrived we were told... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for choosing our Hotel in Rome and for taking the time to give us feedback on your recent stay. I have read your comments with attention and really regret that your impression of our hotel - except the Premier room - was disappointing and if the welcome @ the terrace was not what you had hoped... Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
