We had a great time in Rome and we did enjoy our stay. We are only giving the Polo 3 out of 5 for a few reasons. First, our experience with the staff was different than some other people's. We found them pleasant, helpful and they seemed sincerely happy to see us in the morning as we left for the... More

The hotel was nice enough. It was very clean and comfortable. However, the location is not so good. It is very far away from anything. We decided to walk it to the city which nice at first but then it became a bit tiring. We read on the reviews previously that the hotel staff were not so friendly. Well, they... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for you review. We are sorry you had some difficulties in language communication. During your stay we had some young stagers... we will require better language skills. We look forward to welcome you again in the near future! Best regards. More

This hotel is a good business hotel which caters well for the traveller. The rooms are well appointed and the resturant serves a good breakfast and evening meal. The noise from ajoining rooms is a little loud and the wifi works better in some areas than others. The staff are knowledable and helpful. More

This hotel's decor is really dated -- late 60s' architecture and brown wood interiors -- which I kind of found cool. At the same time it's pretty luxurious. The hotel's general feel matches that of the quiet, rich surrounding neighborhood, which is the nicest I've stayed in in Rome. (There are just enough restaurants and boutiques and a Carrefour nearby... More

This was a relatively nice hotel but away from everything and in a residential district. Even the Villa Borghese was a long walk away. The rooms were clean but at least the ones we had included tiny bathrooms. Fabric walls were an interesting touch but it had water damage near the window which gave off a musty smell. We only... We are a family of 4 with 2 adult "children" and spent 3 nights at the Polo Hotel. We flew in and took RomeCabs to the Polo Hotel for $55 euros. We mentioned to our driver how we are planning to buy the Roma Pass and he offered to wait for us after we checked in and take us to... More

The service was terrible. The hotel management didn't keep its promises. If you need to stay in Rome, this is not a place to chose and you'd do better elsewhere More

It s pitty that in the moment you want to rest in a place you need be affraid (unfortunately the right word) of the people who want to demonstrate their "power".. Me and my friends found some of the hotel"crew" very impolite and negative.. Instead of that ,don't think that your breakfast's coffee will ejoy you ..food it's also not... More

We stayed at the Polo hotel for 2 nights last week (Oct 15-16 2009) and overall were very pleased with the accommodations. As mentioned in some other reviews, the Polo is located in the Parioli Quarter just North of Villa Borghese and is just a few blocks South of Piazza Euclid, ...about a 5-6 minute walk to/from the hotel. Piazza... More
