We stayed in hotel Picasso for 4 nights. I give a 5 star review to the hotel since it is excellent value for money. If you are expecting luxury then the hotel is not right for you. This is a small, clean and friendly hotel in a very good location. Near metro, bus, rail station and major monuments (ie Spanish... More

We booked a flight to Rome for the weekend and decided to stay at Hotel Picasso. We were quick to decide on Picasso mostly because of it's central location, close to most of the famous sights in Rome. Also their prices were incredibly low during our stay (last weekend of November). We didn't expect much. What's immediately noticeable is that... More

Ideal location just off the Via Nazionale, very clean room, king size bed, and light modern bathroom. We requested high floor and as the weather was predominantly hot, we opened the doors for a breeze although there is aircon if needed Quaint old style lift which you need 10 cents to use, but hotel will give you a supply if... Great Hotel with great staff, if you are looking for a cheap hotel in a great location plus decent rooms you have got a winner. Breakfest was very basic and dull ,cappuccino was very good, there is a caffee next to the supermarket that is near the hotel that can make you soy coffee (not many places have it!). The... More

Very welcoming, charming and comfortable hotel! Attentive people, considerate staff. Special thanks to Magda! She changes on my request my room on a new one, with the view of the two streets. I am very thankful for this! Great room with lots of light, a good, large table! Tasty breakfast, air conditioning. If I will be back in Rome I... More

After reading many reviews i was very sceptic about this hotel. But everthing was very positive; we had a room at the 4th floor with streetview, the receptionist gave us 10cts coins for the elevator and a WIFI login acces. Breakfast is good, good coffee, fruit, eggs, bread and croissants. People were very friendly. All of the big attractions were... More

Location is so central. Walking distance to most major tourist spots. Don't expect anything fancy from the room. It's pretty basic. But it's clean, has free wifi, and a basic free breakfast in the morning. It a brilliant price for the the location. Has an adorable elevator that gets you up to the rooms. And the staff go out of... The location of the hotel was really helpful because it is in a very small distance, on foot, from fontana di Trevi, piazza di Spagna and from the Colosseum. Moreover it a 5 minute walking distance from the metro of Repubblica and 10 minutes walking distance from the Termini. The lady in the reception was more than helpful and polite... More

Neighborhood Profile
Monti
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.
