We enjoyed our stay at the Oxford. The staff were all friendly and very helpful and they all spoke English. A special mention for Manuela on reception who arranged our airport transfers, booked our museum tickets and just about everything else we needed. The room was a little small but very clean and it had everything we needed. There was... More

An excellently situated hotel with professional but friendly, helpful and polite staff (all of whom have a good grasp of English) who make for a most comfortable stay. Comprehensive Continental breakfast and adequate restaurant (very useful when BA get you to Rome several hours later than you plan!). Good-sized room and spotlessly clean. Cannot think of any reason why, having... More

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable and all aspects of the stay were very good. I felt that the hotel was not quite as central as I had thought when I booked it. We did walk every where and enjoyed our holiday immensely. Very good welcoming hotel. Happy to... More

The room is very small & narrow!!! The shawer is like a small closet no bath (and I'm pretty thin and short person). One of the clerk at the registration was rude and racist towards me. The breakfast was the same everyday (I was there 4 nights) without vegetables... on the walls was stains, during an early morning the workers... More

Have just returned from 4 nights at the Hotel Oxford. Although the room we had was not the largest, everything was very clean and even though we were at the front of the hotel we didn't find it excessively noisy - even had the window open most nights. The breakfast was good - although perhaps the option of a cooked... More

Tripadvisor's review were very useful for me, so, now I'm writing a review also, maybe it will be useful for others. The summary is: not excellent, but good. This hotel is located not so close to metro and the nearest bus is in a few blocks. The street is pleasant and pretty safe, so you can walk there in the... More

We stayed in this Hotel in October 2011. It is a very well used Hotel. Out side of the main public areas it is well worn. The lift is quite something with exceptionally challenging access on the upper floors. There is no sound proofing so hopefully the rest of the guests wear soft shoes. Reading the other reviews we must... More

The hotel is in an excellent location, walking distance to many tourist spots, but away from the noise. It is an older hotel but the rooms are clean and the breakfast (included) very generous. The staff is very helpful. Elevator only goes to the second floor, so if you have problems with stairs make sure to ask for a room... More

Great hotel, fair walk to centre but knew that when we booked. Rooms good, air conditioned and spacious. Bar staff excellent, even got to watch the football on the computer behind the bar. Prices ok. Really enjoyed our stay. More
