This hotel is exactly what I expected when staying in Europe for the first time. It is quaint yet efficient & the decor is just perfect. They staff is very friendly & helpful. The rooms are clean & cozy. Free breakfast is provided & it's a nice little spread. We loved our stay here.

This is a great choice for a hotel in Rome, if you you want very nice, but don't want to pay a fortune for it. Every morning, there is a wonderful buffet breakfast served with eggs cooked to order, toast, breakfast pastries such as croissants and cream pies, yogurts, fruits, coffee, juices, milk. Surely you would pay 15 to 20... More

50 years ago I studied in Rome for a semester at Loyola University's Rome program, now called the John Felice Center. A group of well organized fellow alumna decided to plan 6 days worth of 50th reunion activites - in Rome - so many of us could not resist the call to come and participate in such a wonderful occasion.... This is 5 star service at a 4 star pricesl! Superb quiet and central location just a minute walk to Via Veneto and a few minutes to the Spanish Steps. The staff is very welcoming and have lots of great local restaurant and other recommendations and all speak English. The public areas and breakfast room are cozy and lovely. The... More

From check-in to check-out we were pleasantly surprised. We were welcomed with a fruit basket and continued to enjoy the many extra special touches that followed during our 5 night stay. Umbrellas to borrow when it rained and GREAT restaurant recommendations were just the start. The frescos on the ceilings throughout the lobby are amazing! The room was huge with... More

We have stayed here several times over the years. We come back because the rooms are good, the baths are very nice and the staff is superior. We loved the breakfast and the guest cocktail hour. Ask for a room with a balcony. The location is very convenient to everything. We walked and took the subway everywhere.

We booked into this classic BB literally 20 meters from the Panthenon on the second floor with a bay window overlooking the bustling crowds of Rome. Room was a bit small but the decor and lovely bathroom compensated for this. We were well received and our luggage were brought up for us in no time. Breakfast was marvellous with just... More

Old Italian grandeur, welcoming and smart in a central location perhaps a bit tired in places - next street to the Savoy and close to Barberini Metro Station, 5 minutes walk from the Spanish Steps. We were a party of 4, in a 4 bedded room which was on floor 5. The lift goes to 4 and then there is... More

We stayed at Le Residenza for 4 nights. Helpful and welcoming staff! The hotel is located near Bernini plz and close by the Metro station. We didnt use the Metro much since we walked everywhere (the hotel is within walking distance to all the main places). The staff were very nice!! The room was big , Roman style which we... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
