The King hotel is a reasonable hotel with a okay price The hotel is in a fairly good position next to a few restaurants and a theatre Down the road is the roundabout where leads to the Trevi fountain . The hotel is not bad the inside is abit out of date which needs a major fix with new style... More

The location is fair good (downtown). However, the hotel is not good. ´Reasons? 1. I was in the 4 floor. Elevator work between 1 and 3 floor, then walk with upstairs. 2. The room has a weird and bad smell. Impossible to know what was 3. Dirty carpets and one of the bed sheets was patched, something unacceptable (please see... More

Ideally located 5 mins from Spagna and 5 mins to via Tritone in the opposite direction. Roof terrace and row of balconies on the 4th floor were a nice touch. Within walking distance of most main famous things, and smack bang next to a Metro station for the ones you can't. The room was clean and comfortableand well kept. Not... More

The best thing about this hotel is the location and the staff. The location is very central and ideal for getting around. The staff were very friendly and helpful giving us great tips of where to go and what to see and even what to eat. We had some great recommendations. The hotel is not luxury by any means but... My stay at the King Hotel was great. Paola and Christian at the desk were very nice and very helpful with maps and guidance. My room was cleaned beautifully every day with lovely clean sheets every night. My cleaner even found me a softer pillow 😀 The beds were not that comfortable but the location of the hotel made up... We chose this hotel based on its location and it didn't disappoint. We did our research and we prepared for a middle-of-the-road accommodation which it definitely was. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is very unassuming, quite literally a decent room in a great location for those that really only plan to sleep in the room - it... More

My wife and I stayed from the 24th of September till the28th in room 307 and were shocked to see the state of the hotel starting with the carpets in the passages, smell of sewerage in the room all day long, terrible noise from the street below. There are no double glaze windows to keep the noise out. The elevator... More

First impression. Room smelt each and every time we opened the door. The balcony on floor 4 was nice spacious. Bathroom was very pokey, toilet seat moved around. Breakfast was ok, nice pastry but often had to wait for it to come out. Its an ok place to stay on a budget, but i would recommend spending more time away... More

Staying in Colonna

Neighborhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very center of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping center, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
