Stayed here for a week in May 2015. Is 5/10 minutes walk from the bus and train station so well placed for getting around, particularly as it is the centre of the bus system to get get you around the city. Lots of nice restaurants only a few minutes walk from the hotel. We just went out every night without... More

It was a great place mto stay in the centre of Rome. Well suited for shops, and many of the attractions to see in Rome. The hotel was clean, and a good place to visit local restaurants. The staff were helpful and guided us on our way around the city.

When you're in Rome for a short citytrip and you only need a cheap bed because you're out in the city all day, this is the perfect place! The interior of the room is oldfashioned, but fits wonderfully in the old characteristic building in which this hotel is located. The room is tidy, the bathroom tiny - but all basic... More

The hotel is very close to the railway / metro station and also most of the tour buses stop at S M Maggiore which is 100 metres away. It is a basic hotel, but it is perfect for a 2/3/4 day break when you need somewhere comfortable to recharge the batteries. The hotel staff were very polite and friendly, always... More

I've always wanted to visit Rome so we decided to book and go with our friends. We booked through Thomas Cook and were recommended this hotel by the travel rep. Our stay was for six nights in a "beautiful converted convent" I was quite impressed initially, the lobby area seemed inviting and nothing really stood out as being basic, marble... More

We booked here for our 4 day stay in Rome because it advertised it's roof terrace however this is now unavailable due to the "winter weather". How disappointed we were to have to eat breakfast in a small room with no view. On a positive note tho' the hotel is 5mins from Terminii and within walking distance to everywhere, it... More

You get what you pay for. Rooms are ok. Location aswell. Very friendly staff. Breakfast spot and the breakfast itself are at best average. Staircase can be a bit frightening when you walked around Rome the whole day and end up climbing 5 floors. Overall and OK experience for the money.

Hotel is really nicely located close to Termini train statio which is convenient to go from/to airport and to Designer Outlet Village. Coloseo is within walking distance and you can get to Vatican by metro as the station is 3 minutes away from hotel. Hotel is really basic and you need to be ready. But definitely worth the price. Air... More

We stayed for 3 nights. The location of the hotel is both good and bad . We found it wasn't near the tourist areas such as campo de fiori (took on hour walk one night ) which was a negative . However, as it was situated a 5 min walk from the bus terminal and metro it was useful at... More

The hotel is not close to a shopping area or any famous sites to see. You must take the metro. The staff are very nice, but the facilities are below average. They have intermitent hot water, which is bad ehen the weather is cold. They have to improve facilities for guests to want tocome back. I wouldn't recommend it.

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
