Lovely hotel with nice rooms and breakfast as well as fabulous customer service. Great location and staff were so helpful. Restaurant was only ok but hotel was fabulous. Service was better than any we encountered.

From the moment we entered the hotel, the staff did everything they could to accommodate us. They helped us with maps, directions, hailing taxis and recommending restaurants. The complimentary breakfast were delicious with several different options and the mini bar in the room was free and restocked everyday. We had to leave the hotel at 5:00 a.m. the last morning... I'm reluctant to leave such a great review, as if more people discover this hotel it may become difficult to get a booking! However I must! Location: fantastic in the Via Nazionale, walking distance to all the main sites, Vatican a short taxi ride ( 9 euros there in the taxi the hotel summoned, 27 euros back in the one... More

What a great location and modern hotel. Newly renovated and room upgrade upon arrival. Everything was great until Sunday night. It was 95 degrees and we asked for 2 bottles of water. Upon calling the front desk, we were bombarded with terrible attitude, surprise and disgust for asking for extra water. The woman was so rude as to hang up... More

Dear Conrad V, Thank you for your review of your recent stay with us. You can imagine our shock upon reading such a low rating, and due to customer service - usually one of the most praised aspects of our guests' time at Artemide. Management has looked into the matter and spoken with those involved and have been able to... More

Hotel was great! Great service, comfortable room for 4. Stocked with snacks and drinks each day was a refreshing way to return to the hotel after exploring the sights of Rome. Close by the railway station and a few blocks in every direction from the Colosseum, the Spanish Steps and the Pantheon. Booked a room with free breakfast, the buffet... More

The Artemide is a fantastic hotel and it ticked all boxes. We stayed in the honeymoon suite which was perfect. We were treated with champagne, chocolates and fruit on arrival. The mini bar was free to use and re-stocked daily. We also had a roof terrace with space to eat & sunbath. There was also a Jacuzzi. This was a... More

Great staff, nice room, excellent location. We even ate at the restaurant and it was one of our best meals from the trip-- and all of the food in Rome was excellent! Walking distance to many excellent Rome landmarks.

We requested 2 connecting rooms as we were traveling with 2 children 8 and 11 and were pleased when everything was as expected when we arrived. The bellman were great during the whole trip, easily getting us taxis within minutes every time we wanted to go on an excursion. Very clean, modern hotel. Great breakfast, very friendly serving staff. Hotel... More

I'm not one to write reviews but this is a must! This was a surprise trip for my mum so it had to be the best. I researched so much to find the perfect hotel and I can honestly say I wouldn't find anything better.... Staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. Rooms were a good size, modern and clean... Loved... More

We stayed at the Artemide for the first 3 nights of our honeymoon. The room has all we wanted and the free mini bar that was topped up daily was a well used feature for us. The staff were helpful, although their restaurant recommendation of Risorante Rinaldi al Quirinale was slightly over priced and all hotels obviously send people there.... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
