The reason I chose this hotel was purely based on the tremendous reviews I has read online, and I was not disappointed. From the moment you first enter the hotel the service is first class. The girl on reception could not have been more welcoming and helpful and certainly put my travel party at ease. To be perfectly honest I... More

Perfect in every single aspect, It is affordable luxury. I cannot praise the staff at the Artemide enough, every single person from the lady who cleaned our room, the bell-boys, the reception staff, the kitchen staff, the restaurant /breakfast room staff - each and every one of them completely lovely and very professional. The Artemide is in the most wonderful... More

This hotel is reasonably priced and superb value for money. Very well positioned between the main termini station and all of the sites. A few things you should know though: 1. Spa is 30 euros extra for you to visit. 2. Rome flumenci airport is 14 euros away on the non stop Leonardo train. 3. Use the underground to get... More

My advice for anyone who is looking for a hotel in Rome is to stop your research now and book this hotel as I doubt you would find anywhere which could match it. The hotel owners and team who work here appear to have attempted to think of everything you could wish for in the way of comfort and service... More

Absolutely gorgeous hotel. Room was not the biggest but it was absolutely beautiful so it did not really matter. Service was excellent all three nights that we stayed there. Loved it from the minute we arrived up until we left, didn't disappoint at any stage, would definitely stay again

It was a perfect stay. I loved everything, the staff was really helpful. It was clean and the location was perfect. The only disappointment was the lack of the happy hour during our stay. Can't recommend it highly enough.

My husband booked this hotel as a surprise birthday present based on the reviews and it certainly did not disappoint. Staff were extremely attentive and friendly, the location was spot on, being within walking distance of most attractions, the accommodation was second to none. We will definitely be returning to Rome for a follow up visit (hopefully sometime soon) and... More

If you want a little gem of a hotel in central Rome this is a don't miss. Situated at the eastern end of the via Nationale it offers comfort, good food and service and peace away from Rome's hustle and rush. The breakfast is very very good (kept us well fuelled for each day's sightseeing) and the rooftop bar was... More

Dear Guest, We are glad that all in all your stay could not have been any better! First and foremost, we work to satisfy our guests and ensure that they will only have the most comfortable of stays. I am very late in submitting my review. My husband and I stayed in June 2014. I would never consider another hotel when I visit Rome again. Beautifully renovated. Could not believe that renovations will be started in the lobby. That area was already great--reading room etc. Breakfast was excellent. All employees were friendly and attentive. Accommodations, bed, bathroom were great.... More

Very central location for getting around, Republica metro at one end and Termini not far either. Never more than 10 to 15 mins walk from the major attractions. Breakfast was included not a bad buffet, very good service and attentive staff, would stay again if in Rome.

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
