We had decided to do, a little tour of Italy this summer and thought we would start in Rome. We chose this hotel due to it's central location and great trip advisor reviews. We stayed here for 4 nights bed and breakfast and it didn't disappoint. The staff were fantastic, particularly Sebastian on reception who was so helpful and accommodating... More

We found the staff very helpful, attentive and professional. Any request we had to do with directions or suggestions of things to do in Rome were met well above our expectations. The room was comfortable, bathroom was great. Last but not least, the breakfast buffet was fantastic!

Location is GREAT. Located at one of the main streets Via Nazionale in Rome, pretty close to Piazza de la Repubblica, around 200 mts from the Repubblica Metro Station and bus stops going everywhere important, 400 mts away from il Palazzo de la Esposizioni and not too far, maybe a mile from Piazza Venezia. All in all, greaaaaat location. Staff... More

We booked at the Artemide on the recommendation of a colleague who said that her parents regularly stayed there. It was more expensive than places we usually stay, but it was worth every Euro. The public spaces are elegant and stylish. I liked that there was a common room on the first floor somewhat removed from the lobby. That was... More

Stayed with our grandson in the heat of July but the hotel is in a great position within walking distance of top attractions, especially the colosseum/forum - and a short walk to the hop on hop off bus stop - perfect for oldies and youngsters!! All the Staff were outstanding and extremely helpful both before our stay - by e... More

We stayed there for 3 days part of our honey moon. The hotel was ok, friendly staff nice service. The location was convenient few blocks away from everything... We spent 2 afternoons at the terrace of the hotel. The view was not fantastic... But the cocktails were good :) Nice experience...

Had a really lovely weekend in Rome staying at this hotel. Staff were extremely helpful and went out of their way to advise and help us. The room was a reasonable size for a prime location - nice and clean with comfy bed. For a seasoned traveller I was impressed and would definitely visit this hotel again.

The Artemide is ideally located to visit Rome. The staff know all the good places to visit and the best restaurants. They arranged all our tours and most or our dinner reservations. Just tell them what you need and they will arrange it for your !!! Our room was relatively small but impeccably clean and the bathroom was spotless. The... More

This is a really good hotel. I travel a lot and spend quite a few nights (weeks) a year in hotels all over the World, and this hotel is to be recommended. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the air con is nice and cool, the mini bar is free, yes you read that correctly - free beer - and... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
