Spent 7 days in Rome at the Artemide Hotel and enjoyed every minute of it! The rooms are fantastic (clean, spacious and equipped with a fully stocked mini bar). The staff is amazing - always very helpful and kind! The hotel itself, is situated in a very good location (close to metro and train terminal, as well as walking distance... More

This hotel is the ideal place to stay! In terms of style, the hotel lobby is luxurious; the hotel rooms are modern, great bed, shower water pressure is intense and wonderful, and the mini-bar is completely free. In terms of the staff, they helped us to get everywhere: from booking dinner reservations, to booking tours, to just giving us advise... More

We have recently returned from our stay in this great hotel for my fiance's 30th birthday! From the moment we arrived the service was exceptional and the staff made our stay very special. We would especially like to thank Maria for exceeding our expectations with our requests and also advising us to try the Hi-Res restaurant in Piazza del Popolo... More

Booked based on trip advisor reviews and hotel more than lived up to its excellent reputation. Great location close to most major attractions. Well appointed and spotless rooms. Free mini bar a nice touch. All staff friendly and professional. Breakfast was exceptional and especially the staff, freshly made bread and cakes bought round for guests to try. Complementary bottle of... More

Wow this hotel does not let you down, great staff, clean rooms, fantastic food both in the restaurant and breakfast. Perfect location for getting around Rome. I also tried out the spa and found this was a worthy addition to the hotel amenities. We will definitely be staying again next year.

Everything about this hotel was wonderful. We stayed for two nights, we are a family of five so our parents stayed in a double room and myself and my siblings stayed in a triple. The triple room was really big, complimentary bar restocked daily, lovely shower, beds were extremely comfortable. The staff were incredibly polite, always greeting you and making... More

We visited the Hotel Artemide in late August as a group of 3 adults. We chose this hotel because of earlier reviews we had read and we were not disappointed. All we can do is agree with the very positive comments already made about this hotel. The room was very comfortable, decorated to a high standard and easily big enough... More

Excellent accommodations and staff. Very nice breakfast included. Centrally located near train terminal Coliseum and forum. With great public transportation and reasonable and easy access cab almost any location in Rome is good. There are a lot of small nice hotels located all around.

This is an excellent hotel - fantastic service (no request is too small) and very comfortable rooms in an excellent location within easy walking distance of the Spanish Steps. There's good reason for the hotel's high rating. Definitely recommended.

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
