We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Clodio. It was located outside of the touristy area but only a 15 minute walk from St. Peter's. There were lots of restaurants along the way. We felt very safe here. The hotel staff was amazing. We would stay here again.

So we arrived early and they were busy. We were able to store our lugage and come back. We strolled up and down the street and there were lots of shops and a few pizza places. I did not feel as safe as I had in other parts of Rome. I was there for 2 weeks and gypsies were most... More

I am prompted to write this by the comment made by a recent reviewer that Hotel Clodio is "Good hotel, nice location." I have just spent two nights there, and I can agree that this is a good, decent hotel with a quiet, sedate atmosphere, perhaps suitable to mature visitors. My room was of a good size, tastefully furnished, very... More

Good hotel, nice location. Can walk to St. Peter's Basilica. Lots of old world charm and excellent front desk staff, Vincent very personable and helpful. Nice rooftop terrace to relax in and good breakfast buffet. Good bathroom and AC. Only negative is very hard beds.

I stayed there for 3 nights in September 2013. The room was spacious and neat. Staff were generally quite helpful and breakfast was good. Wifi was ok, although not very reliable. I enjoyed my stay there.

We stayed in the Deluxe double for three nights on a summer weekend while attending concerts and wandering Rome. The reception was generally welcome and helpful, the breakfast buffet was fairly good and diverse, and the rooms were clean and big enough (this is not an American hotel, big enough means enough room for a couple to wander about and... We stayed at this hotel some years ago as part of a package tour of Rome. The hotel seemed quite nice, it is located near a bus station from which the the sites of Rome can be easily reached and there was a nice little trattoria nearby in which to have dinner. So when we needed a hotel in Rome... More

We stayed at Hotel Clodio from 19th-22nd June 2013. We were attending a concert at the Olympic Stadium so the location was perfect for us. After reading other reviews, we were not sure what to expect, but we were pleasantly surprised with the hotel. Loved the area, room and bathroom excellent, breakfast very good, friendly and helpful staff. We enjoy... More
