Clean, cheap, staff very friendly! What more could I ask for? The wifi work really good, they make the beds every day, day have a clean kitchen that you can use as you wish. Really marvellous! I recommend!

So I cannot stress enough that this location is so great, within 10 minutes walking distance to Termini station. There are many buses here as well with very convenient routes, e.g. bus 64 would go straight to Vatican City. There are also grocery markets nearby which are helpful to stock up some water and snacks in your room. All in... More

Throughout travelling Europe this was one of our favorite Hostels, because they had fair sized rooms with only 2 bunk beds to a room which was a lovely change to the 12 people per room hostels we had been in previously. The hostel was pretty easy to find too which was helpful. the rooms are very old but have personality,... More

Girls only. I stayed there for 4 nights, I had only booked 3 but had to arrive early so we had the chance to book one extra night with no problem. My friends and I stayed in a room with a private bathroom - hair dryer included! The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hostel is close to Roma... More

I stayed three nights in the room closest to the entrance door (lower bunk bed closest to the window, in front of lockers), and got bed bug bites on my feet and torso area. Rome was the last leg of my one month trip to Europe and I did not get bed bugs in the other hostels I stayed in.... More

I stayed in this hostel for 5 nights and it was a really good decision. The satff was friendly, the hostell and especially the baths were super clean and the beds were comfy. We had lockers in the room and a bathroom with a shower for each room with 4 girls. The location is good, you can walk to the... More

Small hostel with only a few bunkrooms but friendly atmosphere, close enough to roma termini and another metro station. Hadnt stayed at a female hostel before so wad pleasantly surprised with the hairdryer and straightener on offer. less impressed with checkin being across the road, bit of a mission to fit in the elevator with pack on,but got there in the end.... They had staff that came in to clean and make your bed daily. The bathrooms were pretty nice. They have a decent sized kitchen so that backpackers can make and store food. I met several lovely ladies while staying there. Easy access to buses and not far from the train. The only down side was there were not enough outlets... More

I like it because it's female only. You'll meet many girls traveling alone and can meet friends this way. It's very clean and safe. Easy checkin and checkout. Location is close to the train station (10 min walk). Only downsides are my keys didn't work very well and room 1 I stayed in was noisy at night.

It was the first time all by myself in a hostel and I was a bit worried for what I was facing but the hostel was perfect. The workers are very nice and professional. The hostel is very clean and there is a small common area and kitchen but it wasn't any inconvenience. I think they should try to improve... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
