We spent a long weekend in Rome at the Duca d'Alba Hotel and were positively impressed. I checked tripadvisor before booking the hotel, but the reality is even better than the reviews. The hotel is centrally located at just 5min walking distance from the Colosseum and the Roman Forum. Closeby there's also a subway station so we didn't have to... More

Guided by the reviews on tripadvisor we booked a three night stay at Duca d'Alba. We were not disappointed. The hotel is easy to reach from Termini station, on foot or one stop by subway. It lies in a small street, just behind the busy Via Cavour, very close to mayor sites like the colosseum and the Forum. We stayed... More

This was our fourth stay at this hotel which we found by chance a few years ago and is the only place I would consider staying in Rome now. With hotels in Rome you so often do not get what you pay for and I have come away disappointed from stays in supposedly five star accommodation. This little hotel is... More

It's a small and charming hotel. Like the streets of Rome. The room was beautiful and confortable and the team make you feel special.

This was our second visit to this hotel. It had deteriorated. Rooms were dirty. On our second night, we discovered bedbugs in both our rooms, our adult daughters and ours. Run away from this hotel, as we did.

Dear Client, I am sorry that you did not like your second stay in my hotel. Unfortunately, the inconvenience occurred was caused by the flower boxes placed under the windows of your rooms. The bugs that you found, in fact, came from the outside, just from those plants that were diseased and had been infested. We immediately cleaned the rooms,... More

Ok well this Hotel is perfect for couples or small groups of people. At the moment they are renovating the loby/receiption but this does not take away from the excellent service provided by the staff. They are warm and very helpful....nothing too much trouble. The breakfast was great....although i did see a group of 6 try to sit together which... More

I am sitting in room 113 in the Annex tight now listening to my neighbours arab music. I wonder if the walls are made of paper in this hotel. Very friendly staff, clean rooms but the reason I live inte a hotel is that I need a place to sleep and that is imposible in this hotel. I come from... More

I am very sorry for the noises that you experienced one night. The walls are quiet thick and the doors were changed recently in soundproofing material. Unfortunately if other clients, clearly not polite, listen to music very loudly, I think it is difficult to have total soundproofing. If you had telephoned to our front desk to mention your problem, we... More

Family of 4 rented 2 rooms here at the suggestion of a friend. He said best location in Rome and he was right. Rooms very clean, great linens and updated decor. Small, but good size for Europe. Felt very safe. Price was very good for quality, not to mention it included an excellent included breakfast and free internet. Very close... More

Excellent location for main attractions and was very easy to reach from Termini station. The room was as shown on the website, not massive but by no means small, very clean with nice decor. Staff were very helpful and incredibly friendly. Have stayed in many hotels in Rome and this stands out for the price, location and relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommend.... More

I spent two nights on a business trip to Rome, with good luck to get very nice winter days. Regarding the hotel, there were some renovation works under way in the ground floor, which is not nice but I understand these have to be carried out in this kind of building and it makes sense to do that in the... Thank you for the appreciations made. I'm sorry that sometimes renovations can create some minor inconvenience: we understand, we apologize and thank you for your patience. Our aim is to improve standards and more and more services to offer to our clients. Very soon, however, these works will be completed. I'm sorry you did not appreciate our breakfast, but I... More
