This hotel was everything the positive reviews said it would be. The staff were helpful and attentive, even finding out where my husband could buy tickets for the football the evening before the game (the answer is the tobacconist on the corner of Via Leonida and Via dei serpenti). The common areas of the hotel are very nicely done and... more

I travelled to Rome in October with my Partner. When we got to the hotel it seemed nice and the receptionist was very pleasant. We got our room key and was guided out of the hotel to the 'Annex Building'. It was like an apartment block with no carpet on the floors or paint on the walls. What seemed like... more

modern boutique hotel in an old building in a real neighborhood of rome, very narrow cobblestone street..location convenient to metro, local restaurants which are very good and cheaper then ones near the tourist attractions., we walked to all the historic sites..great location for that. room was small but well equipped, lots of nice touches. Breakfast was definitely a step up..pretty... more

We just left this gem of a hotel. It is near many ruins, restaurants, tube, and gelaterias but tucked off the main streets. Somewhat noisy but if you close double windows, it is very quiet. Staff was very helpful and gracious. Buffet breakfast a full meal, lovely servers. Room and bath were stylish, small but adequate. High speed complimentary WIFI. Computer... more

My husband and I stayed here for four nights (three nights at the beginning of our trip and 1 night at the end) and enjoyed this hotel immensely. The metro stop located just 100 yards away was super convenient, the breakfast was great, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The room we stayed in initially in the main hotel... more

This hotel is a few metres away the Cavour Metro station. Note however that it is only close if you are exiting the station and travelling in the direction from the Metro line "Laurentina" to "Termini" to " Rebibbia". It worked well for us as we were arriving from the direction of the airport. It you are arriving from the... more

Angelo & the staff here made our stay in Rome great! They went above & beyond what any concierge at the best hotels would have done. Rooms were great, small by American standards but roomy by European standards. The breakfasts were very good & even the other guests were friendly. You could tell that we all were very pleased with... more

Arriving at the hotel was very easy from Roma Termini Station as the tube station (Cavour) is one stop away and 200 yards from the hotel. The location couldn't be better with the Coliseum 5 mins walk away. Good breakfast and the service was excellent - would definitely stay again more

This year was our fourth visit to the Duca d Alba. It is such a welcoming hotel, in a great location. The staff are always helpful and pleasant, on hand 24 hours. All the major sights can easily be reached on foot, the Colloseum is 10 minutes away. The hotel has recently had improvements, the breakfast room is now much... more
