The only reason i booked this hotel (through booking.com) is the hotel location, a 10 to 15 minutes walk to the colosseum. The first look of the exteriors really disappointed me (see attached photos). I reached the hotel around 11 AM but i was told to wait until 1 PM for check-in. Never mind, i spent couple of hours in... More

We spent 6 nights at this hotel and It looks a bit old and tired when you arrive. However, our room was a nice size and the shower in the ensuite bathroom was fab. The continental breakfast was superb, lots of cereals, bread, meats and cheese and delicious pastries. The location of the hotel is fantastic. You can walk through... More

Stayed April 2012! First off we are a young couple who are not picky people.... That being said we enjoyed our stay at Hotel Edera. Very simple rooms but in a busy city it was wonderfully peaceful at night and really enjoyed the surrounding neighborhood. The local coffee shop workers spend an hour drinking coffee in the mourning talking footy... More

Enjoyed staying at the Hotel on my first visit to Rome. Quiet & convenient & helpful, ideal for a sightseeing visit to the City. Near to all the main places to visit. good breakfasts & many local cafes etc nearby. Would like to use this hotel again if possible for another trip. Very good deal much more reasonable than expected... More

Stayed here with my partner for a long weekend. This hotel really is in a good location - literally 4/5 minutes walk to the colloseum. Lot's of bars and restaurants. Our room was ok - enough for what we needed it for sleeping getting ready ect. The staff were the only big let down incredibly unhelpful and mardy!

On a positive note this Hotel is in a great location. Close to The Colissuem, train station, and we found a couple of nice restaurants close by. Bathrooms are very nice, our top floor room was quiet. The entrance from the street is appealing, however once inside the doors it all goes to hell in a handbasket. Staff are indifferent,... More

We stayed at the Edera for 4 nights. Our room was a normal size room for Europe, meaning adequate for two people with two twin beds pushed together, a small table and armoire with nice wallpaper. My only compliant about the room is the air conditioner after being on most of the night started to drip onto the bed. We... More

The Edera Hotel is in a great location. It's a ten minute walk from the train station (so don't get conned by a taxi driver, like I did, who tells you it's going to cost 20 euro to get there) and a five minute walk through lovely gardens to the Coliseum. There's also metro station right across from the Coliseum... More

We stayed at the Hotel Edera for a bit less than a week with our school group. The rooms were cozy, but they had only one key to each room, so splitting up is hard. The location of the hotel is great, near to Colosseum. There is no subway station near to the hotel, the walk is something between 1.5-2... More
