Stayed here for 2 nights, good hotel if you are on a budget. If you have lots of luggage and not good with stairs probably not best choice, and no offer to help from staff. Also rooms quite small triple rooms ( like i guess most rome hotels) but also very dark. Nice little view out to the Opera. Nice... More

My husband and I stayed at Hotel Lirico for 4 nights prior to our cruise in mid-July 2014. From the moment we stepped in the door the staff was amazingly friendly and helpful. We arrived early and the front desk staff happily tagged our bags and kept them in their site in the lobby while we went out to explore.... More

Stayed here for two nights after getting a great deal on the room. The hotel is very central (I managed a three day trip without using public transport). Reception staff are friendly, the included breakfast is great, and the rooms are clean and comfortable if a little retro in decoration. I'd happily return.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Lirico Hotel a couple of weeks ago for a week in Rome. We stayed in room 308 and absolutely loved it. Although the room was small, it was what we expected as the hotel was so central and reasonably priced. There are plenty of restaurants in the surrounding area (we visited the Pizza... More

My husband and I stayed at hotel Lirico before and after our cruise. We would highly recommend this clean, well-run hotel, well-located just under 10 minutes walking distance from the train station (termini). We especially appreciated the hospitality of reception staff Tony, Massimo and Michelangelo. Late evening staff not as friendly and stingy with giving us an extra bath towel.... More

My family and I stayed here for just over a week. The hotel itself is nothing special per se, but the staff make the place great! The rooms were small, but this is typical of the region. Despite the size, we were able to easily sleep all of us in the triple room. The taller people used the sofas, while... More

Amazing price for being so close to all the sights in Central Rome. Close walking distance (5 minutes) to the railway station and then within easy walking distance to 'Trevi fountain', ' republicca vittoria' 'pantheon' & piazza novonna' . We only had a stopover in the city flying in late afternoon and leaving back for the airport at 12:30pm but... More

My husband and I stayed in Hotel Lirico June 25 - 28, 2014. It is a great small hotel within walking distance to many of the historical sights in Rome. The front desk staff were extremely helpful in answering our questions. They gave excellent advice as to the best metro station to take to get to the Vatican (Repubblica train... More

Staff helpful. Gave good restaurant recommendation. Gave maps and advice. Great location. Breakfast was included in our room price and had nice meats, cheeses, breads and muesli. It was solid, ethical business in a city which is better known for the opposite. Rooms were very quiet. The opera had a performance (which we didn't attend), but the patrons were dressed... More
