We stayed at Hotel Lirico for 3 nights starting on 17th August 2014. Staff were brilliant, especially Tony and the other chap with glasses! Couldn't do more for you, even carried our bag down the mountain of stairs on checking out! Great location, we didn't use public transport any of the days, everything in walking distance. Wifi connection was really... More

First of all- great location! It was close to the bus and train station which was really important as we came quite late in the evening. Room was clean. however I had a problem with a smell in the room. Breakfast is ok - good options to choose from. Staff was really helpful and kind- I'm talking especially about TONY.... More

The rooms were ok, the location was great. Poor breakfast, weak wifi, and and a very unfriendly-looking waiter. The weird thing is that, although there only three floors, you can't take the stairs, but have to wait for and squeeze yourself into a very tiny lift. Disabled people will find it hard to get around this place, if at all... More

Dear Customer first of all thank you for having stayed with us. In reference to his review I dare to point out that the breakfast is not poor at all, since we serve fresh pastries, fresh fruits, 10 types of yogurt, cheese, ham, eggs, biscuits and various types of cereals and ... much more which is unusual for a 3... Stayed here for 2 nights, good hotel if you are on a budget. If you have lots of luggage and not good with stairs probably not best choice, and no offer to help from staff. Also rooms quite small triple rooms ( like i guess most rome hotels) but also very dark. Nice little view out to the Opera. Nice... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for stay with us and the time spent to write something about us. We just want to inform you that we understand that 20 steps from the main door in the street and the reception could be a problem for our guests; for this reason our staff is always at disposal to carry bags and luggage... My husband and I stayed at Hotel Lirico for 4 nights prior to our cruise in mid-July 2014. From the moment we stepped in the door the staff was amazingly friendly and helpful. We arrived early and the front desk staff happily tagged our bags and kept them in their site in the lobby while we went out to explore.... More

Stayed here for two nights after getting a great deal on the room. The hotel is very central (I managed a three day trip without using public transport). Reception staff are friendly, the included breakfast is great, and the rooms are clean and comfortable if a little retro in decoration. I'd happily return.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Lirico Hotel a couple of weeks ago for a week in Rome. We stayed in room 308 and absolutely loved it. Although the room was small, it was what we expected as the hotel was so central and reasonably priced. There are plenty of restaurants in the surrounding area (we visited the Pizza... More

My husband and I stayed at hotel Lirico before and after our cruise. We would highly recommend this clean, well-run hotel, well-located just under 10 minutes walking distance from the train station (termini). We especially appreciated the hospitality of reception staff Tony, Massimo and Michelangelo. Late evening staff not as friendly and stingy with giving us an extra bath towel.... More

My family and I stayed here for just over a week. The hotel itself is nothing special per se, but the staff make the place great! The rooms were small, but this is typical of the region.
