Comfortable friendly hotel. Close to many attractions and short walk from station termini. Reception staff always willing to answer questions and offer advice. Ask for cappucino at breakfast if you enjoy good coffee. Hotel organised taxi to fuimicino airport for set price of 50 euros, may cost more on Sundays. Happy to recommend this hotel. more

We spent 3 nights here. The rooms and bathrooms are very clean and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful and speak fantastic English! The hotel is in a great location, only a ten minute walk from the Colosseum and near lots of pizzerias and bars. There is a Metro station a few minutes walk up the road from which... more

We travelled thru Europe this summer and booked alot of hotels thru trip advisor. Everything went very well. We were on the train and chose hotels near train stations. The Lirico was easy to find and everything we needed. Easy to get around Rome and the front desk always had someone on with advice, answers and tips. A great breakfast... more

I went with my husband for his 40th birthday. The Lirico is a neat hotel run by 3 brothers, the staff are lovely and will help in anyway they can, offering advise on how to travel around and where to eat etc. The rooms are clean and comfortable. It's a ten minute walk from the train station and a 5... more

Since the hotel is near, but not too close, to Termini, it served as a great base to tour all of the areas of Rome. The rooms were "European Small" but entirely adequate for us. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were good, but got a little old by the end of the week. We will always have... more

comfortable rooms - clean, small bathtub, comfortable bed (firm), satellite TV (took some tweaking to get satellite channels to work initially), quiet, lift does not go to the street level so be prepared to haul your luggage up a long flight of stairs, good breakfast (boiled eggs, meats, yogurt, cheese, buns, pastries, fresh fruit, juices), free wifi, fee for the... more

We stayed for 5 nights in Hotel Lirico and are very satisfied. Friendly staff, clean rooms and a good breakfast. The location near the Termini is also good for people arriving by train. We enjoyed our stay very much and will surely book this hotel again. more

The hotel is in a great location, particularly if you are traveling to or from Rome by train. The hotel staff were very welcoming and the reception staff excellent . The single rooms in particular are of a good standard and very comfortable. more

The hotel was located close to Roma Termini, next to the Opera House. I would suggest buying a map of Rome (with landmarks) to get around prior to arrival as Rome can be hard to navigate, and streetnames aren't always obvious. There are a couple flights stairs you must climb prior to reaching reception and the elevator, so be aware... more

My husband and I just returned after spending a week in Hotel Lirico. We were absolutely delighted with the hotel. The location is great. Just a few minutes walk from Termini train station and only 15 to 20 minutes walk to all the main attractions. The bus to the Vatican can be picked up on the next street. The hotel... more
