We spent a weekend there and were pretty happy with this hotel. Close to Termini station and on walking distance to every attraction of the center, we barely used transports at all. The reception staff was wonderful and helped us with everything with great explanations of any question we could have. The rooms were basic, comfortable and really clean. The... More

We recently spent 7 nights at the Hotel Patria with another couple. The hotel front desk staff was very helpful and gave us directions for visiting places around Rome. We were also able to book 3 day trips to other sites in Italy through the front desk staff. The location is a plus - right off the Via Nationale and... More

The hotel is within walking distance from Termini train station. The room was basic and very clean. Breakfast was good. Nothing to complain about. I rated the hotel as very good also because the receptionist was very helpful and did his best to help me purchase a ticket for a football cup semi final at the Olimpico stadium. Stayed there... Ok, so it's not a 5 star hotel, but guess what? This was my second time in 8 years and it's still immaculate and fairly close to everything (esp. The train station) and reasonably priced for Rome standards. The staff is amazing, very friendly, and I doubt you will be disappointed. Most people complain about the rooms being small -... More

We spent a long weekend in Rome and we weren't looking for anything fancy. We were only looking for a clean, comfy room to return to at the end of a long day sightseeing. The Hotel Patria was exactly that. It was also in a great location with a lot of the sights within walking distance of the hotel. There... More

Like most of the reviews, we used this hotel for a short city break in early January. It's clean and comfortable, all you really need. The rooms are of a good size, breakfast was the classic Italian with great cappuccinos. The concierge was polite and very helpful. Whilst the bathroom was spotless, our only concern was the rather off-putting odour... More

This is a small hotel in a great, central location. The rooms are small but typical of this type of hotel and really most tourists just need a clean bed and bathroom which the Patria has. The bathrooms are discribed as small by many reviewers. It is not a particularly small room but is badly laid out with a huge... More

The Patria Hotel is an excellent base for visiting the key sights in Rome. It is situated in a quiet street off the Via Nacionale and very close the Metro station at Republic. Thank you very much for choosing our Hotel. We are really happy to read that everything went good. About the kettle service, unfortunately it is the fire law in Italy that doesn't allow us to put it in the rooms. However, as you already know, it does not bother us to please you and bring directly in your room hot... More
