Honestly the hotel is not a three star hotel. The rooms were so tiny! Once you walked up to your floor, it felt like I was in a convent. The green carpet had stains on it. The comforters were dirty. The bathroom was clean but the shower was very small. You couldn't move without touching the walls and shower head.... More

Stayed here a year ago. Rooms were definitely small, but this was so much less boring than any other hotel. At the time I stayed here the rooms still had metal keys (not keycards), and each room has an integrated stereo with speakers that blast into the bathroom as well. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat. Location's great too... More

The room was small and quaint. The bed was extremely small. I couldnt turn over without fall out of it and hitting the wall. That wasnt the main problem. There were ants. I told the front desk there was a problem. The second day the ants were still there.

In Italy the size of the bed Single standard 80 x 190 . Unfortunately eat in the room can cause this problem , plus we had confirmation from you that the problem had been solved . Next time if you were to eat in your room please contact Reception as soon as finished so as to send the porter to... More

We would definitely go back to this hotel. The bedroom and bathroom were comfortable, the service was very good and the continental breakfast was filling, especially the made to order coffees. While internet in the room was extra, the lobby internet was free and it was nice to gather there to catch up on any internet tasks. It was close... More

The hotel is nothing fancy at all. It was booked for us through our travel package. Slim pickings for breakfast but enough to get some food in you before you head out for the day. My bed was OK. Everything about this hotel was just OK. Location was decent but I'm sure there are better areas as far as getting... More

Thanks for the review. our hotel is located in the center of Rome ( 500m from Termini and a few minutes walk from the Colosseum - Trevi Fountain Piazza Di Spagna etc . ) , a better position type Piazza di Spagna imply higher spending since there are superior Hotel. Thanks Angelo More

Sorry it did not meet his expectations may be too high for a 3-star hotel . The city tax of € 4.00 is mandatory and must not be to ' Hotel but the City of Rome . The price of the press was introduced to limit the prints from the customers ( in the past we had the printer connected... More

A bit dirty and old fashioned. But the situation of the hotel is local quiet close to the centre. very poor breakfast but friendly people are working in here. We had a room on the 5th floor, so we could crawl out of the window on the roof terrace (that was very nice in the morning and in the evening... More

This was not our favorite hotel of the trip to Italy, but it was serviceable. There were ants in the bathroom, which I did not like at all. The rooms were box standard, hard beds. The AC did not work in our room, and if we opened the window, it was so loud outside, there was no sleeping. Breakfast was... More

Ok hotel within walking distance of most attractions and transport. Good breakfasts for european standards. If not for the extremely bad attitude of one of reception staff some german guy... all would have been good... funny how one person can make such a negative impact on your life long experience of a place u visit.... pierre bassani photoman

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
