My husband and I traveled from Rome to Venice. We stayed at the Tirreno 3 nights in April. It set the bar for the rest of the hotels we stayed at during the next 10 days. The front desk staff was helpful and friendly. The breakfast was very good. The room was small but all we needed, and it opened... more

Just back from a 4 night stay at Tirreno hotel. Overall experience was good. This hotel is centrally located in a quiet side street very close to 2 metro stations and about a 10min walk to the Termini. The hotel itself is fine - there is nothing extra-ordinary about the place but it is clean and central. Breakast is average... more

Myself and three other family members have just returned home after a wonderful four-night stay at Hotel Tirreno. The whole experience was nothing but positive. The hotel is well located in a quiet street and within walking distance of two Metro stations. We had a good-sized quadruple room, which was spotlessly clean when we first entered it. It was maintained... more

My family and I stayed here in January. Two adults and three teenagers. It was a breath of fresh air after being in Paris. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful, they even gave us a tourist map and highlighted it with suggestions without being asked. We were given a family room which opened onto a garden. It was more... more

I recently stayed at the Hotel Tirreno in Rome. After spending several days in Italy prior to my arrival, I was really dissappointed with the overall condition of the rooms. The beds were terribly uncomfortable! And there was no hot water for showers, unless you got up at the crack of dawn. On the website it staes that it is... more

I stayed here last week in a 2 bedroom one bath room for 265 euros a night. The price seemed a bit high for what we got but that may be the going rate in Rome I guess. There is a big breakfast room with free continental breakfast which is nice. It was clean and has an elevator. The location... more

Hi, thanks for the good review. I'd just like to clear up that we don't charge any 5 % extra for credit cards' payment but we offer a 5 % discount for cash. Thanks

A great stay

Just finished our stay at Tirreno and can report that it is a very good place to stay. We had a very clean, large room, overlooking the street below but because it is a little side street, it is very quiet at night, once you close the window. Very large bathroom, looked liked it had been recently redone, all the... more

We spent two nights in Hotel Tirreno, we were highly surprised with our room and bathroom, both proper of a real three stars hotel. The staff was very pleasant and ready to help us. I recommend this hotel and i will repeat as soon as we come back to Rome. more

We stayed at the Hotel Tirrenno for four nights in mid - December 2006 and our first impressions were not great. We were early so couldn't check in till after 2pm and when we returned to check in we found our room (on the 4th floor) to be completely smoky and the bathroom smelled as though somone had died in... more
