first of all, location location location!!! the best location i could have ask for. when i booked it i was abit scared that its closed to the tremini, which is not true, the hotel is 10 minutes walking Santa Maria Maggiore Basilica, the Colosseum and the Roman Forum. very nice staff, had answers for all our "tourists questions". we were... Stayed there for 4 nights in a room just overlooking the "Tirreno" sign towards the street. Room was fine and clean. My advise is have a look at the rooms and then choose. A drawback is hotel does not have any good breakfast at all. They are giving some tea/coffee and cakes from the store. You can get cheese and... More

Just got back from 3 weeks in London, Rome, Paris and Lucerne and have decided to comment/review on all hotels on our trip from someone who had a normal experience - ie nothing extraordinary happened here and hence you probably would not mention too much to your friends and colleagues afterwards. We stayed 6 nights in room 201 which is... More

PROs: Almost all the main attractions of the city and subway/train/bus stations are in walking distance. The room had a normal size enough for king size+small bed. The rooms and public areas are clean. Nice staff. CONs: The breakfast is very monotonic. More

Do not take any notice of the photos on the hotels website or any other website such as booking.com etc. I have travelled the world and stayed in every type of hotel possible but this is the worst I have ever stayed in. It is supposed to be a 3 star but I think they just classed themselves as a... More

Stayed there just for 4 nights - single room was very small, only Italian channels on TV. Breakfast could have been better. More

We enjoyed our stay in this hotel,it was walking distance to most attractions. Basic rooms but clean and well looked after by staff. All the staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was better than expected. At night after a long day site seeing we were able to sit in the garden area drinking while the children were tucked up in... More

Trying to find the hotel was hard people kept sending us to another hotel with similar name, we had in total 6 rooms all were good except the single one, small. My room had a little yard outside which is good for smokers(room 302). Breakfast was simple but lots of places to eat nearby. Good value for money and staff... More

We booked our room over telephone. When we arrived, the desk clerk took our passports and a credit card. We were shown to our room. We stayed about 15 minutes. It was noisy, dingy, and had a bad smell coming from a vent. We decided not to stay, but the manager would not refund our money; he said we had... More
