Have stayed here twice and will definitely stay here again! Rooms are not huge but a clean and have everything you need. Some have a private balcony which is really nice. There is also a courtyard where you can bring your own drinks and food and relax during the hot hours in the middle of the day. Staff is overall... More

Stayed here two nights. Front desk not very friendly. Rooms are very small and although they have a terrace, you do feel like you can't really move around. Bathrooms are also very small. This was my first trip to Rome and although it was close to the Coloseum, it was far from everything else. Next time, use hotel tonight app... More

Had a nice time staying at Tirreno for four nights. I would agree with other reviews that the staff isn't super welcoming, but it didn't bother me! Liked my room, good wifi, acceptable breakfast, pretty good location. I liked the restaurants across the street too. Would stay again.

We stayed here only for 3 nights but wanted to extend by another 2 nights and unfortunately they were booked out. Great location close to the train station, plenty of sights within a short walk and lots of good food and drink options close by. Our room was spacious, had a lovely view down the street and even had a... More

My wife and me stayed in Tirreno hotel on April 15, 2014. for tree days. Do not expect hotel "Four season", but It is nice, clean and small hotel in about 15 minutes walk to Colleseum and city center. Because of very good location, we were able to see all turist atractions in two days. Hotel room was good size,... More

We stayed here for two nights. It was close to the subway stations and the Colleseum. The price was right as well. It's nice because it's in a quite part of the city so you don't have city noise keeping you up. The hotel staff was great, giving us great restaurant recommendations. The breakfast was nothing special, a lot of... More

Good hotels are hard to come by in Rome close to the fabled sights. Tirreno offers an option to the travelers as it is 15-20 min walk to most places of interest. Taxi is reasonably priced too, often about 10 euros. The room was ok and the size was no different than what one expects in Europe. The bathroom ventilator... More

Clean, functional rooms. Tasty continental breakfast. Air conditioning worked perfectly, room had fridge, television and plenty of lighting. The highlight was the staff, who made us very welcome and were hilarious. Max, the concierge, was our favourite! highly recommended this hotel!

We returned from our family trip to Rome yesterday and spent 4 nights in the Hotel Tirreno. Staff were lovely and especially great with our two young sons ( 10 and 2). Our room was clean and a good size. I had read a few negative reviews regarding the breakfasts but there was lots of choice and the staff were... More
