We spent 2 nights here and enjoyed our stay. The rooms are basic but everything is there including good wifi. We had a room at the front but in spite the hotel being in a quiet side street, there could be a bit of noise when people were coming out of the bars/restaurants in the street late evening. Breakfast was... More

I recently stayed at the Hotel Tirreno on a solo trip to Rome. It is in an absolutely ideal location for sight seeing, whilst having the plus of being on a lovely little street, keeping it nice and quiet. The hotel staff were very welcoming and friendly upon arrival and checked me in very quickly. I stayed in room 102... More

This is a nice, clean hotel with a good location and good value. It is about 10 minutes walk from Termini train station on a nice quiet street. The Colesseum and Forum are also about 10-15 minutes walk away. There are quite a few nice restaurants nearby. This is great location if you are in Rome to see the sights.... More

this hotel isn't luxury but its great value for money and in a great location, the coliseum is literally round the corner. We were 4 female friends and asked for 2 double rooms with balcony and shower next to each other and that's exactly what we got. The rooms were fine, the balcony had seen better days but it was... This little hotel is a real gem in this busy city. We visited it during march break (15 - 22). It is located on the street off of main street and very quiet in the night. We had windows on the street and it was always quiet. Majority of time in Rome we walked. Hotel is located 12 min walking... More

This hotel was clean and gave us a place to sleep. We weren't planning on staying in our room or the hotel. Walked around Rome and used their bus, metro, and train system. Saw Rome's sights! For this reason the hotel served its purpose.

It is exactly what we wanted. A nice/clean room in a fantastic location. We feel very safe walking day or night. Easy walk to train and historic locations. Breakfast was not the ham and eggs Amerian's expect - but I came to Rome to not be American for a week. Delicious breads, yogurt, cheese and more. The staff have been... More

I wasn't really sure what to expect of this hotel coming in. I had stayed in this general vicinity about 4 years ago, so I knew I would like the location well enough. We flew into Rome and took the train into Termini (about 30 minutes) and walked about 5-10 minutes to our hotel. It is very easy to miss... More

Great stay at this hotel! The people are friendly! It is located close to station termini. 5 minute walk and very close to the Colloseum and Piazza Venezia. My privacy was very well respected. Wifi was perfect.

Neighborhood Profile
Monti
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.
