It is close to the basilica Santa Maria Maggiore and Termini train station. We have stayed here about 10 different times. Economical and clean with a friendly staff. The breakfast is typical of Itlay. Don't expect bacon and eggs---you are in Europe. Embrace their way of life and explore!!!!

The hotel needs updating and is very basic. The location is ideal to everything in Rome. The staff were very nice. Free breakfast makes the room price worthwhile. Lots of nearby restaurants. Street was noisy.

This hotel gives you everything you need for a vacation in Rome...excellent location, affordable, breakfast every day, and solarium for relaxation. The room was a little small, but is common in central Rome.

Charming small old hotel. Continental breakfast is free, wifi works best in the lobby. Close to Termini station. Ancient Rome is about 12 mins away. Not a Marriott but full of old history. Needs better beds and air conditioner. But I will stay again.

The Tirreno Hotel is located on a little cobbled street near the church Santa Maria Maggiore. The street is narrow and under construction, but it is still very busy. Apart from other hotels, there were also Pizzerias, Restaurants, an Irish pub and a corner store. There are so many buildings in Rome that there is only one entrance, but there... More

Excellent price and location is perfect for exploring rome on foot: less than 10 mins from termini station, coliseum, 20 mins to pantheon, trevi, 35 mins to vatican, trastevere. Safe, quiet, clean. Breakfast is what you expect in italy... if you want more there's reasonable restaurants down the road.
