The location is great - one can actually see the hotel from the intersection outside of the Termini. I stayed 4 nights in total - 2 nights on a Friday and Saturday and 2 nights at the end of the following week on Thursday and Friday. The room for the first 2 nights was unexpectedly spacious with high ceilings. Not... more

I look for a hotel near Termini station because it is pretty central and, more importantly, because taking a bus or subway from Termini, you can get to anywhere in the city rapidly e.g. bus direct to St. Peter's or metro to Colosseum. I got what I thought was a good deal in Hotel Genova ($150 a night) though it... more

We stayed for five nights between May and June 2008. The Hotel is renovated and looks nice. The welcome at the reception was poor to fair, we arrived at 8:30 a.m. and were told that the room was not ready and we should come back at 10 or 11 a.m. that was not so nice. The room was OK big... more

Great hotel, great service, overall excellent! We stayed 4 nights at Hotel Genova, had the best accommodation in Rome comparing to other experiences I’ve had. The rooms were a bit small, but very stylish and well equipped, the bathroom was super clean and everything in the hotel seemed brand new. I understood from the staff, who were very friendly and... more

We just returned from our Italian vacation. Overall, Hotel Genova was the best of any we stayed at in Rome, Florence and Venice. We had a very large triple by European standards. The bathroom was also pretty lush, with marble throughout. Everything was very clean and seemed very new. The front desk staff was very helpful at directing us toward... more

We stayed at the Hotel Genova in September 07. I had read some mixed reviews about the hotel and did have doubts in my mind. However, I could not have been more wrong! The hotel was clean and tidy, with modern finishes. The breakfast was good and the room and bathroom was perfect (small as most European rooms are). The... more

Hotel Genova was going under restoration by the time my husband and I arrived, but it was no big deal. In fact, since we enjoyed the hotel despite that, one can imagine how good it will be after all the work is done. The rooms are very clean, comfortable, with modern decoration, and well sized (not big, as usual). Great,... more

I have to say I was a bit concerned as to what I might find after reading some of the reviews. However, I had a thoroughly enjoyable stay. The rooms were very comfortable and quiet (although admitedly I was at the back of the hotel). The hotel staff were also very willing to offer help. more
