While recently in Rome on vacation we stayed 2 nights at this disappointing hotel. While the location is excellent and the staff very courteous and warm, the room is poor and 2 people will find it difficult to maneuver about. 2 people cannot be in the bathroom at the same time because of the layout of the toilet, bidet and... While I would agree that the Hotel Imperiale is in a great location in Rome, a member of our group had a very disappointing experience during our stay Oct 3-6, 2014. Our friend asked the manager for directions to a local restaurant. He and his family left and they were gone one hour. Upon their return, they discovered that their... More

Hotel Imperiale was located right on Via Veneto and has a great selection of restaurants around it. Walking distance from Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain. The staff was kind and welcoming. Hotel room was decent but the bathroom in our room was poorly laid out. You could not open the door all the way because the toilet was right behind... More

Comfy beds, nice hotel like you would find in the U.S. Delicious, huge breakfast. Friendly staff. Worth the money. Great location. I had already been in Italy for 12 days when I arrived at the hotel. I was staying the night and heading to the Amalfi Coast for 10 days. I had purchased too many items already and my luggage... More

This was the first hotel we stayed at on our tour of Italy. It was alright. The rooms (small) and bathroom were clean. The only problems we encountered at this location were the bathtub had high sides and was very deep. Also there were NO "non-slip" aides in the tub. Could be very dangerous. Otherwise we (my wife and myself)... More

We stayed 2 nights in September 2014. We chose the hotel because there was little choice for last minute bookings and it looked OK from reviews. In fact, it was a great find as it is so easy to get to, right by the Barberini Metro stop. The staff spoke excellent English and were very helpful. The room was lovely... More

It's within walking distance of most of the places you'll want to visit in the old part of Rome, and relatively affordable. There are lots of restaurants and cafes nearby, as well as shopping. It is on a busy street, but then most of the streets in this area are busy. We were placed in a very small room, even... More

The hotel's only advantage is it's location. It's close to Barberini metro station, spanish steps and is in wonderful area. Hotel itself is very poor decored, tiny room, poor breakfast. Get ready that you pay money only for central location.

My husband and I recently stayed at the Hotel Imperiale in Rome. We booked a “superior” room and received a “superior” rated room. The room was more than lovely as it was large by European standards, had a foyer, beautiful bathing area and an outside shutter which could be rolled down for security and noise reduction during the evenings. We... More
