For my dad's birthday we went to Rome. We stayed in this hotel, which i can't really remember, all i know is i really liked it. It had lovely surroundings and it was really nice. I would definitely go there again for a weekend visit and would recommend it to you.

Stayed at Luxor for 5 nights. Pros: centreal location near termini station. breakfast is ok. That's about it. Cons: hot water ran out every time we took a shower. Often had to wait 15 minutes for hot water to come back. Showers and washroom are are extremely tight. Rooms are very small and smell very bad. Noisy location. Paint is... More

Single rooms are clean but small, expecially the bathroom. Loocation is central for business traveler, near governmental offices and agencies. The price is in the low range for Rome. Unfortunately, rooms with windows on main street are noisy.

We stayed at the Luxor for one evening prior to our return to Canada since it was within walking distance to Termini station. We paid 150Euro and it was not worth the price at all. When we first arrived to Rome late April, we stayed at the Canova ( I will post a review for that hotel) for the same... More

My husband and I stayed at the Hotel Luxor the first week of October 2006 and again for one night before our flight home mid month, so we got to stay in two different rooms.
